Wonderful Video thank you Gary. I was very reluctant to purchase one of these locally without first having a repair video from you! You really do save a lot of folks from breaking things.
I’ve been waiting for a video on these, I recently bought one on the bay of evil that looks great but doesn’t run like it should, this is great information, thank you!
The spindle definitely gets quite hot and can be a finger/thumb burner for sure. I've seen no heat issues with the preheater device or its lever/paddle. It's cooled by the fuel. BD
Good Video. Glad to see you active. Happy Holidays. Cavry
Thankyou very educational video! Optimus 324 looks to be alot easier to take apart then the coleman 502.
Good to see you post another video Bernie. Hope all is well on your side of the woods.
Same to you, thanks for watching! BD
Always great to see a new video from you.

The space race! There can’t be a lunar lander stove gap! Sweden must be represented!

Thanks for this breakdown on the 324. This is one of my grail stoves and I learned quite a bit here. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Glad to hear it! Merry Christmas to you too! BD
I had this one. It was sold as the Rider and I bought it in about 1988. I found it a bit fiddly as the brass lever could get quite hot.
