I have been with African men who see nothing wrong with prancing me around, meanwhile he is married to a woman who is with another man or just deals with his behavior. Once I find out I leave. Had a man from Ghana tell me, “if u leave me I’m gonna f your neighbors and stalk you” .... he definitely did all the above. But had a wife at home. Smh I didn’t believe he was married bc he was with me 24/7 and constantly took me around town and all of his friends and everyone of them called me his wife. He never went home even before me 😳 I was a complete and total mess. African men have a “I’m an African man, I do what I want” mentality
I enjoy this so much I didn’t want it to end. Please do more gusts like this. And, there’s something about your voice that’s so sweet to hear; almost Oprah-like 😊
Not quite. People who immigrate tend to take with them the best memories and remain locked into the rea when they left while culture is dynamic. I have seen that from both sides of the migration fence so to speak. When I returned to jamaica afyer 14 years away I both loved and hated what I found. I loved being back but the new attitudes just had me so angry.
Girl you give me life omg, i wanna be you when i grow up 😂😂😂 ive been debating relocating to lagos but idk lol.....youre beautiful! I love your vids❤️ Stay blessed
It's Iveoma i really identified with your comment in a last video that life in US just doesnt quite feel right but im a nurse and i feel like thats not lucrative in 9ja and no wan suffa lol ive been vacationing in nigeria since i was a child every year and im yet to find a “good decent” hospital out there... seems like the island is super gentrified now though, and still yet no medical facilities That compare to US- im from NY. Not even banana island
Hopefully the Nigerian gov will invest more into healthcare after this pandemic. Fingers crossed. Most of the nurses I have seen who make real money after relocating, open clinics, home help businesses, etc. Train under employed nurses and send them to help elder patients in their home. People need that for real.
It's Iveoma its funny you say that because i do home health out here! But in lagos, idk fam with this american accent!? I feel like id end up missing, you already know, those nigerians peep that accent a mile away its like dangling steak in front of a hungry lion. These nigerian men do THE MOST, and move funny. Lol ill see sha, thanks so much for your advice!
Okay, so when I heard that first story, I was like: mad o! Imagine that, a man is trying to procure a woman for his already married brother! Not only that, but he was trying to get a woman who was a doppelgänger of his brother's wife. For what? I can't wrap my head around it! I would have understood if his brother's wife was dead but she is alive and well. A common thread runs through all the stories that you told, and what it underscores for me is that a lot of Nigerians seemingly cannot tell what is right from what is wrong. I find that hard to believe but I think that is the only conclusion that I can make. It is what it is. It honestly doesn't make any sense, because I realize that on a normal day the churches will be full on Sundays of the same people!
My first time coming across your video and you are just so right,I'm married to African American and the part where you talked about presence increasing price is so true, I sometimes tell my wife to just wait in the car or just don't talk when a negotiation is going on,and yeah Nigerian men can be crazy too, I have watched a man walk across my wife and just said wow!to her face, I ve watched men tell her" you are so beautiful "and ask for number it's just crazy..
Lord it wasn't until my last visit to naija, that i realized just how wild relationships and dating in nigeria must be. I was shooketh when this married man tried to kiss me and then have the audacity to ask me to go out with him later. This literally was a dude i thought kind of highly of/didnt seem like the other naija dudes who are often time super flirtatious. It made me realize how much embedded in the current culture that behavior is. I wonder if the wives know or have just accepted the reality or are even just doing the same things them selves. Its both shocking and comical.
@@IveomaMedia yea sis. After that im not surprised by anything anymore 😂. I wish u the best in the dating. I salute you!! Also thanks for this video. Very hilarious and informative.
Very hilarious, and you handled it well. I have spent enough time in Lagos to not be surprised by anything you reported. It’s part of the social marketplace that enough men and women indulge in to make it a thing. I think its harder for women in Lagos to find legit non-polyamorous partnerships, because women face harsher penalties for promiscuity than men. Best bet, from experience from the women I know, is to have legit intermediaries help in the search and vetting of potential male partners. I know it’s not as sexy a what might be in Mills and Boon books, but it seems to work.
Very shocking to hear this. Other factors too could include one's energy/vibe and dressing/appearance. Flashy looks attract more attention from all sorts generally speaking. Although of course promiscuity is higher in big cities. Sounds like Africans need a cultural reboot.
Keeanga Akakatang yes it is all bout sex. Use a woman and discard her after a few times. The women know this and this is why no money no luv! It seems that they don't understand the dating process. Dating is a western concept. Don't go to Nigeria looking to date💰💰💰. A working woman can make a lot of 💰in Nigeria. U gotta pay to play. Cutoff all the foolery😀💰💰
Unfortunately, if you seem successful and single in Lagos, single guys tend to think that you are being taken care of by married men especially if they are your boss.It is kind of a general thought and sickening at that.
Please no matter don't date or fall in love with a married man,as that would be adulterous. I don't know much, but let's do what we can make heaven at the end of our lives, here Earth. I love you thanks
I had to pause the video and say Sis I am eating potato chips and drinking a juice listening to you tell these fascinating stories! Now back to the video...
Some wives procure ladies for their husbands just to keep the husband. They say that his sex drive is too wild and she can't satisfy him alone, especially if she stands to gain a lot materially from the man and they always do,mostly after giving birth and during their birthdays. The fakeness of it is disgusting.
Coming from Japan, I was shocked by their response. My bestfriend had to protect me a lot in the club when we went out and one guy even sent a waiter to order some drinks for us. It was a crazy night! I miss Lagos. I had so much fun. At least I didn't spend money on drinks at the club nor even on dates.

I think most men don’t have social Etiquette or read about it here and it’s so heartbreaking to hear all they say about nigeria men. But some are quite nice and respectful.
I’m an African woman who is dating/talking to an African man living in Lagos, Nigeria. We have been talking for a year now and he has been trying to come and visit me here in the states. He has a 2 year visitors visa and has trouble with the bribery of immigration. I just want to know how is it when arriving to the airport in Lagos? I believe him to a certain extent but I’m not sure if what he is saying about the airport if everything is correct. He says that he has to pay fines when flight missed, he has to pay for the covid 19 shot before boarding, and also now he says that he has to pay the airport authority as well before he boards. I don’t know since I’m not there. Any advise or concerns? Please help
That first example is really gross to me though, like it reminds me of a tweet I saw which said men are usually friends for long because they don't hold themselves accountable. Like! How can your own family member be enabling this nonsense? It clearly means the brother must also be a serial cheat. I wonder how this all started in their family. Sigh!
Dudes are out of it all over the world. Ladies, it’s imperative to understand that. Don’t continue wasting your time dating these undeveloped guys. They not ready for a real relationship. And my sympathy goes out to wives for being legally strapped to them.

All of these stories have taken place this recently? Wow...how Sway? I’m married and CAN NOT IMAGINE a man approaching me while I’m out with my husband? My husband is a large, muscular, Black man but I would think their are other large Black men in these scenarios. The audacity!
You still havent heard about the stories of the nigerian mans traveling to east africa (kenya and uganda)...lol...I met an ugandan lady 3 months ago in kampala, she told me about how a nigerian guy came to uganda to meet her and then took her home where she found 2 other ugandan womens (with very similar body traits like her, curvy and big...) and then he told her that he wanted to marry all of them...he even gave them credit cards to buy stuff in kampala...she left him after a week and she knew later that he really married the 2 others hahaha and he was actually married in nigeria LOL...when i was in nairobi too, many nigerian guys where acting as if Buying kenyan girls...Let me tell you too that many of them, got their money from illegal stuff and coning...Oh nigeria i miss you...lol
Another story, I met 2 nigerian womens last year in lagos who were married, on Tinder...one of them is still on my Whatsup and is sharing all the time pictures of her husband in her status 'stories and she just got a baby...Welcome to nigeria...LOL
When I was in Nairobi and Kampala, I saw firsthand how in demand Nigerian men were with Kenyan and Ugandan women LOL I laughed aloud at the Nigerian woman story.
@UCXQqsYF-1El7vPPctzT1aFg very true...they just come to pour money on them...it was so weird especially in kampala...they go to night clubs take a vip table then invite a couple of girls and then they buy them wisky, and wine and food and then they go LOL
I had experience when I came to Lagos Nigeria about 6 or 7 years ago. I had a luggage issue occur when I arrived in Lagos. So I went to find someone to help me with it. So this man that worked for the airline that I was on, came to help me very handsome man older guy, he was Hausa Yoruba gentleman. And how hausa men believe in having more than one wife. But I didn't find that out to later who he was. I'm very aware of Nigerian culture because my in-law is from Nigeria. But he did not know for sure how much I knew. He gave me the slip of paper with his number on it. And my in-law said that why is he giving you his number they don't usually do that??? So make a long story short he was trying to talk to me he telling me, how beautiful I was he can see me being a wife second wife to him, that he'll buy me a car, and I will have my own house even though he already had a wife for almost 30 years, an adult children. I believe being an African American woman traveling to Nigeria played a big role in that so I truly understand what you're saying. I said thank you but no thank you because I don't consider sharing my husband, when the Lord bless me with one. He was Muslim and I am Christian as well. And I'm saying all to say this it didn't even matter, a lot of my Nigerian Brothers regardless of their Muslim or Christian seems to feel that they want more women. They're not satisfied with the wife that they have. Lord have mercy!!!👀🙏💪
Nine, that area you live aren’t good for single women and searching. Not that there are no realest people over there. But majority are just playing the "catch up game". That aside...but like you said, you have to use your *number six" like our parents would say😂😂...Be smart and be real. Your NO is Capital and just like your YES too. And never forget to carry God along. It really matters cos even the ones you think you call friends, you might need to watch your back on them too........hey you looking very much of a 'Nigerian beauty' now....stay safe sis.😍
I wish I could move to Nigeria, but now I'm older and divorced. I would love to work there but do they have the same stigma as Anerica.? America feels 76 is to old to employ. Eventthough I appear younger and I'm still very capable of a 9-5 job. So is Nigeria in the same mind set as America about age and the work place? Jude in U.S.
Na wah oh. Naija men stand up. Sometimes I think it has to do with poverty mentality. I grew up with now men, who couldn't approach ladies when younger, so the first thing they do when they so called make it- is to be with at much women as possible . But it's due to that poverty mentality( now I can get those ladies who dissed me when I was poor). You just have to be wise.
Poverty mentality is not the same as poverty. I have done some business with my fellow Naija, and the first thing on their mind is how can I get some money from this fool- instead of how can we make great money together . That's just a poverty mentality. Not doing the right thing always.
Dating people in the same social circle doesn't work either, you might be the side chick/main chick and not even know it. I had my fair share of the Lagos dating scene when I came back, what I realized is you have to detach emotions from Nigerian men when you are looking for something serious so u can access things properly, it wasn't until after I got married that I started letting my guard down slowly.
marriage of nowadays is quietly different from marriage of the olden days cos men dont respect marriage anymore like before and its so sad but you know,it is what it is

When did Nigerian men become cheaters? The average Nigerian men are respectful and faithful to their wives, and I don’t think this story is 100 percent true. But I might be wrong at the same time, because I left that country long ago. So maybe things have changed a lot since I left.

Their friends encourage the cheating .The married ones are even more jealous if they hear that you want to start dating a single guy.
Lol I love this channel. Subbed on the first video I watched
Girl you give me life omg, i wanna be you when i grow up 😂😂😂 ive been debating relocating to lagos but idk lol.....youre beautiful! I love your vids❤️ Stay blessed
Your words are very sweet LOL
Married men have turned churches into hooking grounds and ladies aren't left out. They aren't really after serving God.
Do they so sexy and shrarp
Logas nigrara OMG that no respect I'm not married I'm so sigle I want
Wow thanks for sharing

Yup @ shocking and comical LOL perfect sentence to sum up dating scene here. I am not surprised by your story!
@@IveomaMedia yea sis. After that im not surprised by anything anymore 😂. I wish u the best in the dating. I salute you!! Also thanks for this video. Very hilarious and informative.
Men and women. Women accept it and do their own cheating. The country is a cheater's paradise
You have great videos..and very colorful background with your dressing.. What kind of camera do you use?
Thank you 🙏🏾, Canon Rebel T6i
Very hilarious, and you handled it well.
My sister, this your channel dey very addictive. Keep up the good work. New subscriber 👍🏾
African men are like this in Atlanta, Georgia, USA too.
LMAOOOOO
So are African American men, in all of USA!
Omg yes!

His brother didn’t know he was married..........Lol!
A wild dating scene out in Lagos city : ). Shine ya eyes o
Very shocking to hear this. Other factors too could include one's energy/vibe and dressing/appearance. Flashy looks attract more attention from all sorts generally speaking. Although of course promiscuity is higher in big cities. Sounds like Africans need a cultural reboot.
WOW. That is scary. I live your channel and your content :)
You are great storyteller and very fair minded. I think that will enjoy subscribing and listening to you talk about Africa.
We need a part 2!! 😂
Look alike wife!! Iveoma, I’m in tears!
Jaime!!! How are you girl?
Maybe it's just about sex and not a meaningful and quality relationship
Keeanga Akakatang yes it is all bout sex. Use a woman and discard her after a few times. The women know this and this is why no money no luv! It seems that they don't understand the dating process. That is what we the single ladies are suffering here in Nigeria.
The married men won't let us meet single guys 🙄
😂🤣 #facts
Hehehe. Because single ladies looks down on bachelors in Lagos.
Unfortunately, if you seem successful and single in Lagos, single guys tend to think that you are being taken care of by married men especially if they are your boss.It is kind of a general thought and sickening at that.
Please no matter don't date or fall in love with a married man,as that would be adulterous.

I had to pause the video and say Sis I am eating potato chips and drinking a juice listening to you tell these fascinating stories! Now back to the video...
Most married Nigerian men are very quick to approach good looking ladies that are single they seem to think they are free to do this it is a game.
Aren't they
I'm NEW to this channel this is the second video I've seen so far and I'm hooked!!! 😍
I feel like some of their wives know about it, honestly, and are even in on it.
See Hollywood storyline 😂
Some wives procure ladies for their husbands just to keep the husband. They say that his sex drive is too wild and she can't satisfy him alone, especially if she stands to gain a lot materially from the man and they always do,mostly after giving birth and during their birthdays. The fakeness of it is disgusting.
Cos money matters more to them.

In Lagos cheating is very common but most people are decent.
OMG I just laughed so hard. I can relate because I had a similar experience when I dated a Nigerian in the USA. 😂
I think most men don’t have social Etiquette or read about it here and it’s so heartbreaking to hear all they say about nigeria men. But some are quite nice and respectful.
murban media pro Of course many of them are respectful. That’s not what this post is about.

Sigh!
Welcome to patriarchy, what did you expect?
My mate had a horror story living with polish bf in family home......both sons and father were cheating...all of them knew .
Especially when they stand to gain material things from their siblings, they do it.Even sisters do it for their brothers.

Good job, Iv. Proud of you!
Dudes are out of it all over the world. Ladies, it’s imperative to understand that. Don’t continue wasting your time dating these undeveloped guys. They not ready for a real relationship. And my sympathy goes out to wives for being legally strapped to them.

I had one try to pick me up in London. I was 7 months pregnant
BTW i'm a french tunisian guy living in paris and love africa...good work and nice videos...
Woow, I'd take the money and bounce.
You are an absolutely beautiful story teller hey
Nine, that area you live aren’t good for single women and searching. They are a lot of married men chasing after single ladies, in fact married men over there are in competition of who will have the highest numbers of single ladies. Main land is where you will meet single handsome men that are well okay for dating.
You know someone else told me that men move to the Island when they have made it and are married. Mainland men are single LOL!!

The wedding ring thing doesn't really work for many people over here.Particularly the men. I think a married man should be of mature mind. Disciplined in and out. But unfortunately the area you reside has more of individuals with fake and funny characters. People live fake lives a lot on the island.my opinion though. Not that there are no realest people over there. But majority are just playing the "catch up game". It’s sad that most WestAfrican men are like that in all countries they live in !Notice I said most ..not all.
A 76 year old should be retired in most countries including nigeria.
Since when does poverty stop a Nigerian man from approaching women in any country LOL 😂
Poverty mentality is not the same as poverty. I have done some business with my fellow Naija, and the first thing on their mind is how can I get some money from this fool- instead of how can we make great money together . That's just a poverty mentality. Not doing the right thing always.
Very true.Especially common with the new money category. Poverty mentality.
@@ezearigo6587 Very true.As a struggling businesswoman, I have experienced this.It is about shortchanging you,not making it together.

Dating people in the same social circle doesn't work either, you might be the side chick/main chick and not even know it. I had my fair share of the Lagos dating scene when I came back, what I realized is you have to detach emotions from Nigerian men when you are looking for something serious so u can access things properly, it wasn't until after I got married that I started letting my guard down slowly.
marriage of nowadays is quietly different from marriage of the olden days cos men dont respect marriage anymore like before and its so sad but you know,it is what it is
So your assessment based on experience, is that Nigerian men and women are unfaithful. Good to know. Thank you.
I am hollering! 😂😂😂 you are a great storyteller.

I love how you talked about conservatism. I grew up in the U.S thinking Nigerians were perfect due to my mom lol. now that I’m older I know that’s not true! Lagos boys are trouble from my experience 😂😂
I sat down and really thought about why I was so surprised at the culture in Lagos LOL and thought about my friends and their experiences in their own countries too. Yes Lagos boys seem off the chain LOL
It's Iveoma the obsession with Christianity also makes these actions hard to believe smh. No one is perfect but wow lol. How can one be fasting and praying yet cheating on their wife?!?!

@@IveomaMedia I think most of you are missing something. Your parents belong to a more conservative generation of Nigeria who left the country around the 80s or thereabout. So, it's that conservative culture they took along with them. Even the culture was more polygamous back then, men weren't running around the streets disrespecting women. We live in a different time.
Im here because i was approached by a lagos man .i wanted to check if he was an anomaly...i got a couple of red flags..compliments instead of engaging in actual conversation. Telling me what i was going to do..slightly dismissive of my opinions..just needed to check before i noped out
When did Nigerian men become cheaters? The average Nigerian men are respectful and faithful to their wives, and I don’t think this story is 100 percent true. But I might be wrong at the same time, because I left that country long ago. So maybe things have changed a lot since I left.
