For your tape... stick it to your pants a couple times before you put it on your paper. Then hit it with a heat gun before removing (not too long or your acrylic will bubble) but that should help remove it cleaner and easier ❤️

tip: if your acrylic paint is thick enough, soke the pallet in hot water and the paint will just peel off

3M blue painters tape is hands down the best. Never rips the paper. I use this tape for everything.

Yellow frog tape is what I use for painting, it’s much less sticky than normal masking tape, but still works fantastic. I haven’t had any problems with it, and it comes in multiple sizes!

Tip for the black colored pencil: If you have a charcoal drawing pencil with soft lead it makes an amazing black colored pencil

Try using a eucalyptus surface/general cleaning spray on the paint palette. I have one that I spray on a paint palette, leave it for a minute, then it wipes off easy!

If you paint your paper with gesso first and let it dry your tape won't pull up any paper😊. Love your videos btw. So relaxing to watch😊
Similar to what others have said, if you use a hair drier for a minute along your tape it will start to soften the glue and it will come off much cleaner. Super cute spread this month! ❤️

Tape tip: pull it at a 90° angle directly away from the paper, not sure why that helps but it does!

About the tape, you can "take the glue off", just stick the tape on your arm before putting in on the paper a couple of times, it should work!

the black tape i used once did the same thing and then i found out it was electrical tape, so yours could be as well. use painter’s tape instead :)

You can blow-dry the tape. The glue will melt and will be easier to take it off :)))

If your tape is sticking to the page, as you take it off, apply heat to the tape. It takes away some of the tackiness.

I was thinking if masking fluid might be more gentle on paper for the white borders than tape. I found tape ripped my paper too. I haven’t tried the fluid yet been thinking about it.
