Transformers aren't even physically capable of becoming drunk. They emulate it by fucking up their energy intake valves so it improperly works. It is like if you were Captain America and in order to be drunk you had to get punched in the liver first. Which is one of those things that makes you wonder who came up with this method first, why, and why would there be need of a bar on their home planet if this wasn't a naturally occurring function.

If I was the writer for a series I’d make Tarn one of the major antagonists for a season and a half near the end but his personality being sort of a tragic backstory with the dark side of him actually ripping out a T Cog from a random bot in a flashback to the cogs of Vehicon Grunts but his voice being like uuuuuum somewhere between the lines of Ultra Magnus from prime and let’s say Beast Wars Megatron and he’d be voiced by David Kaye
