You can't just send them a bill. It has to be contracted and put out for bid . I doubt the city would even hire it out. Why hire it out when they know tax payers will get tired of it and take care of it themselves of ignore it like the city does

Storm drainage clearing is important! It wasnt done much in Richmond VA before 2003, then
Hurricane Isabel came through and filled up the Shockoe Bottom Bathtub, and several people drowned cuz they were trapped in their cars, it filled so fast. Turns out, there were storm drains that emptied into the James River that hadnt been cleared in over 20 years! Many people didn’t know they were there!

Now you are doing several things. Not only are you finding and fixing areas that badly need recovery but you are becoming an intermediary, because you are bi-lingual, to help people who are not getting a voice. Thank you for clearing an area that definitely needed it but also in restoring some hope of help and kindness in the neighborhood.

It took M & D Lawn Care just one day what it took the city of Houston, Texas six years to do. And if the father and son duo hadn’t shown up to whack down that growth and unblock the sewer drain, the growth would’ve grown some more and the city of Houston would have kept right on sitting on their butts and not done anything. The lawn care outfit did an outstanding job. Truth.

Wet or dry--you guys get the job done! Since this doesn’t look like a ritzy neighborhood the city wouldn’t consider it a high priority area. These neighbors deserve the same consideration as any other area. The size of the homes and the income of its people should not be a determining factor! Y’all rock!! ❤
