Damn i need to take a seminar with him... Last year Wheeler come to my city and maby next year Vladimir will come, but damn i want to take a seminar with Ryabko
Is there any systema in the the north east of England I would like to try it. I must admit I can't judge everything from the clip but there didn't seem to be much resistance on the attackers, however it was a demos at a seminar and having an over resistant attacker wouldn't help there. I wouldn't mind seeing a real incident
I personally enjoy Vladimir Vasilievs videos more, there are more leverage based takedowns and it's more fun to watch, but as a systema practitioner, I think that Mikhails way of fighting (less locks and more counter punches) is more effective in a self defense situation if you're not a master at systema yet. And I do know that Vlad is Mikhails student, but it makes more sense for Mikhail to do striking over locks since he is a big dude.
Show me a clip of Systema sparring then. Show me Systema being used against a fully resistant opponent. Do you realise that the rear naked choke escapes would have no use whatsoever if the choke was being applied properly?
tomorrow is my first lessons i am 15 and i bet i will enjoy it and learn alot!
I would love to learn this martial art!!
i wish there was a seminar with that guy in san diego i would go anytime

Hi check out the links page at systemauk com, hopefully you can find a local school
@aaronk0813 An interesting point there, my friend. If I may add that systema has prooved itself worthy in numerous examples of warfare...
@aaronk0813 Martial arts is what you put in, when I achieved black belt, I did it for ME. I took out of it what I needed....
