I have to admit, I watched this video almost a year ago, and I thought, "this is stupid." Then I kept watching, and a couple months ago I started trying a few of the exercises...man, this is great stuff. My neck & torso mobility is greatly improved & pain-free. I wish I lived in your country to take some classes with you!
Excellent vid. Finally martial arts practitioners who teach movement not based on any doctrine. Just using the body any which way, every which way to increase mobility, agility, flexibility and strength with minimal effort and increased relaxation. Well done!
Man you're good. Your exercises has done wonders for me. Creatively done, you don't need much space to get fit. May God bless your good work. Thank you very much. Looking forward for more good exercises.
Everyone, who knows something about the bodymoving must say, that this man has incredible skills!!!! It is amazing! Just try some of that moves at home! And this moves really helps to control your body in extreme situations! It is much better than f.e. bodybuilding. Very good tips! THANX
Start with two basic things and when they are nailed in come for more: 1 keep your breathing continuous 2 allow breath to start and encompass movement but keep number one from stretching your breath length Very little else is needed.
yeah. I study systema and have done a bit of feldenkrais and their are a lot of common elements- working with your body in the most natural way and unlearning bad bodily habits
@awarenessexpansion aint it great? THIS is the PROMISE of martial arts that so many of us were attracted to when we were kids. The use of superior principles and concepts to enable us to have a fighting chance over stronger more aggressive opponents. Wish this would've come out when I was younger...
Systema and Krav maga are two separate and different martial systems. You cannot compare and decide which is better. It depends on the practitioner and other parameters. I prefer Systema with the principle based work and the freedom from format. Make your own mind and if you have specific questions please ask. Sharon Systema Israel.
Love the fact that the instructor is NOT some square jawed steroid and tattooed juiced up freak demonstrating . You instantly see a training method you can use ANYWHERE without needing pads, equipment, etc. The instructor has a subtle PRACTICAL strength that is understated, to look at but devastating in application. Cant say enough GOOD things about systema. Every time I see it done I learn something new.
This is fucking genius, man. I have some serious back trouble caused by a lifetime of poor exercise habits and psychological tension and I have been working on some free style yoga/pilates stuff to target the particular problems and this is what I seam to have been stumbling upon through my ad hoc writhings. I really want to learn Systema...
@awarenessexpansion I wander how this moves can imprive mobility, agility, flexibility and strength?? these are probably good to do for change to get some relaxaton from doing too much basic exercises for real combat.
It dont looks spectaculär, but i think, it is very good for the whole boddy. And you can do it everywhere... The man looks like a "Catbearsnake"... I will try some things of this and wish you every time good look and health! (Sorry for my bad english...)
Dear Ransuru, is there any methods on breathing exercises? You know, just to do proper breathing besides the physical exercises that you have demonstrated. You seems to be relaxed in your movements. How do you that?

Thanks! I'll add this to my own Systema practice at home. I love the drumming in the background too - it adds a nice ambiance to the presentation. :-)

You do not sacrifice your comfort to achieve any range of movement. Extend your awareness and your range will increase.
