Christianity isn't superior in any way and nobody has to say Merry Christmas just because you think it's the right thing to say :) Also, Jesus was not white and there are no white people in the bible :) he was a brown Jew who wasn't a patriot, so I'm guessing now you'd want to speak to the manager ;)
I doubt anyone will taste most of what you threw into your "poaching liquid". The only thing I've found which readily transfers to the shrimp is salt, lemon/wine and sugar. Secondly - I'd keep the liquid at 170 degree or less so the shrimp don't turn out too rubbery. But each to their own!

A word of advice. Instead of retiring an idea why not give a positive twist saying it is so creative to decorate the said dish in a particular manner. You are an influencer and your words should not reek of superiority in any manner. Kindly note. It is very distasteful.
Love your recipes however disagree with adding beautiful shrimp to a pot of water no matter how you much you flavour the water….much better ways to treat those delicious morsels. Steaming and sautéing so much better.I never cook any of my seafood in a pot of water so it can take away most of the flavour. Hope she saves that water. L.A🇨🇦

If you buy the shrimp in the shell, sauteed shells are a good starting point for the poaching liquid.

I propose a dollop or two of French's yellow mustard added to the cocktail sauce...enough to create a light orange tinge.
Laura - great channel. The print version of this recipe calls for "prepared mustard" in the sauce, not horseradish as you did in the video.
