Leigh-Anne literally has no idea how loved she is.. My core memories in secondary school include my friends and I (we're all black and Nigerian btw) dancing around to LM and literally wanting to do our hair like Leigh-Anne in the Move and How ya Doin' videos.. her, Normani and Beyoncè were who we used to look up to and say "I want to be a pop-star" "I want to be like them". She still inspires me till this day.
I wish she knows how inspiring she is towards her fans...she so real and I love her for that..💗💗

Looking at all those people who use to bully me because I always brought up race as why Leigh Anne was the least loved etc when she's literally been saying it in majority of her current interviews and especially here several times. It's so disgusting to dislike or like someone based on race, this world needs to change so that the younger generation has a better life. Anyway I'm so happy that she gets to let alot of this heavy stuff out and is talking about how people have no idea how great of a singer she is. I mean I saw it years ago and I've always thought she was the strongest once she gained a lot of confidence back but that's not important, what's important is she knows her worth and doesn't hold back. I wonder if Leigh-anne knows she has a solid group of black fans that have been by her side since day one. I get it, mainly the white fans were at shows and stuff but I feel like her main concern is them and their feelings. And no concern about those who have had her back since the jump. I've defended her (so have others) against racists so many times it's hard to count
I have to agree. I’ve been a long time Black fan for the longest and supporting the whole time. It’s not our fault that white fans are the ones that got invited to events and stuff. A lot of us were online supporting.
Skin colors aside, surface level and cant define anything about a person. For me the significance i see in Leigh Anne now with experience and growth confidence & control in herself fully. It feels like her new music is really the love letter to younger self that wanted to become who she is today. Leigh Anne is not successful from color she is a brilliant all round artist that can lead, harmonise, perform difficult choreo and still be as regular as girl next door. It's an unusual time to be an artist now in this time but i really hope her music is embraced ❤
