The most important thing is to clean your fans...just a little bit of dust on the fan blades cut the air movement in half..its unbelievable but very true

    • @TheVikke142
      @TheVikke142 9 дней назад

yes indeed, and also the Air intake, one time a week you should clean the mesh on the air intake of the tent if you have that, the dust easily blocks the mesh and also cuts the airflow by 10-15% i noticed. so if the dust builds up it wont matter how strong fan you have bc the air will just "bounce" back out.

That's the small cheap half pill shaped one for now $31 at Walmart (used to be only $25).
But 2, of these flippi's in a 4x4 tent corners has been great (sometimes i raise them off the ground with plastic bed risers as well.) that basically have the same footprint as the fan.
Also with a AC Inifinty oscillating fan for the canopy, and lastly an old broken oscillating (no longer oscillates) blowing over the driver of my 550rspec

Hey Fellars it's not the Heat as such ita a lack of fresh unhumidified air as in more dryer ro keep the humidity down in a tent, the reason why plants rarely get heat stress outdoors is the abundance of fresh air, plants do grow bigger faster in hotter environments, like jungles and so on, you just need less humid air replacing the old are in the Tent situation, after all where the plant comes from India and Thailand, are Hot 🔥🔥🔥 Countries plants can handle the heat but not Humid AF

I'm in a basement with an 8x8 and have to have a full size dehumidifier in the tent to actually increase temps! I was at 77 room but found out my leaf temp was only 72 with these LED lights so I added the dehumidifier to bump my leaf up to 77 and room to 83. After I did that my plants started growing at a very noticeable improvement. I also run Tower fans hanging upside down in corners with breeze settings and a 12 inch wall mounted hurricane up top.
Acinfinty controller is way off for me at like 3 humidity and 5° room vs leaf temp for me with 3000 watts of LED. After I figures out my real VPD with multiple sesors and IR GUN its made more difference in my grow that anything

Summa time is great, but an indoor growers nightmare. It can get upto 35 - 40c here, so battling the elements then having my 3d printers running generates a lot of extra heat. It is almost impossible for me to grow for 3 months of summer. I would love a grow space I can get an AC into and cool everything down. It is humidity (or lack thereof) that is the biggest struggle for me.

Outdoors your humidity, air flow, sun light and many other things are totally different to indoors, indoors you are mimicking outdoor conditions but you can't get a light that's as powerful as the sun and you can't get the same fresh air they get outside so you have to adjust to get the best out of your plants with artificial environment. And the reason why a full moon doesn't harm your plant is because of God this world you live in is perfect because he created it 👍

Just putting it out there, before all the legalization stuff... things would be bought at hardware stores. I bought a $80 offbranded tent onsale $55... clip on fans, yep hardware stores and walmart. You can even find 6" metal fans, now are they going to have 8 settings as described of a known brand, no but its also half the cost. If I had the money, I would definately invest in some of the more well known but as they say, I have Champane tastes on a beer budget, lol
Hope it helps for those who come into this comment... Also for someone like me that is on Disability and very limited budget. I shop around doing comparison pricing and also reach out to companies to see if they offer Veteran discount.

Hey dudes, i noticed that If you have a Grow light with a Attatched Driver onto it, you can unscrew it and then put spacers between the Grow light and the Driver and that will create more airflow under the driver onto your Growlight and will make it a bit cooler, also have a usb fan directed at the driver that gets very hot. But if you dont have a Driver inside the tent then you dont have to worry about this. I live in Sweden and here its cold 8 month per year so i use the Driver to heat my tent on the winter.

Solar and hydrogen. Don't be fooled by how "great" they are. Solar needs silicone wafers (the silicone has to be mined and the transformation into the form needed make a solar panel is, heinous.) Hydrogen sounds great, except that amount of energy needed to get the hydrogen makes it terrible. (You need 40 to 50 kWh of energy, depending on how efficient your process is, to make 1 kg of hydrogen out of which you can only ever recover roughly 33 kWh.)
That said, solar is currently the lesser of the many evils. If we could ever figure out how to make the hydrogen without the unbalanced energy equation, it would be amazing.
If I could, I would grow outside, but I can't, so it's all pie in the sky, but I try never to lose sight of what the costs are. I guess it's very topical to me as I'm starting up my summer grow, after many delays due to unseasonably cold temps here, and the news full of extreme heat in other parts of the country. I'm even saving to put solar panels on my house, but again, I'm being realistic about what the actual impacts are.

I have 2 4 inch inline fans as dual intakes under the canopy on each side pointing north to south and 2 regular fans on the ceiling pushing air south to north with a 6 inch exhaust on the end in a 4 x7 holding temps between 79 and 81 The leaves move gently. VPD controlled. I have no worries on air flow.

The beef commercials are not big agriculture. They are funded by a program that asks beef producers to check a box to give 1$ per head that they sell at auction.

Any time a tv or movie shows a laser gun and you can see the laser shooting its incorrect. Bc a laser is a focused beam of photons, unlike regular lights that spread in all directions. So the only way to see them is if it's aimed directly at your eye.
