Shorter plants = stronger stalks = no stakes required. Never understood why folks grow 5ft+ tall stalks that need support and have 3ft of open space at the bottom. Growing a Peach Sativa right now and had her in veg for 2.5 months and only got about 8".. Everyone said, to throw her out. 2 months later and she's 7 feet tall with pear-sized buds of the sticky icky.. If you aren't a commercial grower, be patient.
I grow trees on a big vertical trellis; 6' tall. I avoid excess trimming by training the plant carefully throughout its growing cycle. I get POUNDS per plant and I stay within my count.

I consider myself a good gardener finally. I really learned to know what's going on with them. I grow different strains,and always get through them by watching these meat and potatoes channels to keep me fresh. Always good to watch.
I use two 25 gallon fabric pots with Living Organic Soil and I always veg for between 6 to 8 weeks depending on how fast it grows. Current grow was 6 weeks because it was growing a couple inches a day. I have a limited space of 2x5x9 and I try to fill that space with buds, i stack them like french fries, i use a SCROG I average 10.5+ ounces per plant 21+ ounces per grow for two plants. It takes at least 5 weeks or more to completely fill that 25 gallons with roots which is whats needed to nourish lots of big healthy buds in Living Organic Soil. Small pots don't cut it and nothing beats LOS for quality, well worth the extra week or two veg. I have a mushroom tent in the room with my grow that i grow Lions Mane, Oyster, King Oyster, Shiitake and the occasional B+ and I have the exhaust from that tent exit over my plants.
I got 1 Sapphire OG in the ground. The plant is a regeneration from a mistake I made in November 2022. Didn’t expect much to happen I thought it was dead. I noticed one day new growth so I dragged it in the veg room and it sprouted even more growth. Planted it in the ground in June. She started flowering at the end of august. I’ve lost a lot of hours so daytime I use lights to give it that boost. I expected a herm but no I got away with it. RUclips won’t let me put it on my YT channel. It’s got long colas and stinks of lemon petroleum more of a sativa pheno than the indica chocolate pine smell. I’m using bio thrive bloom with Atami bloombastic. 1st time re-veg has gone to well with no problems I’m surprised in myself lmao. She’s 6ft tall 12ft round and stacked like a bud bank. Main issue is my weather as I’m a u.k resident. Happy growing people ✌️
Usually when it comes to vegging I usually just let them grow at half light until the flowering plants are ready to replace em. So usually they get about 2 months of vegging in 3 gallons. They turn out fairly well. :) now only if I could stop harvesting early lol. (I get too excited). XD

Yeah I let this GDP veg for about 3 months actually four months and then flipped it it is a monster filling out a 4 by 4 with a trellis currently have been to tie up three branches there so big I won't let it get this big again definitely let it go 8 weeks and then flip

If flowered at around 2ft from seed, reaching 3.5 ft when done? I found these plants tend to be much less vigorous, and they're also in 3 gallon fabric pots. I have some plants vegging a little late, now. Waiting for the flowering tent to finish up. I'll still have to do some super cropping, but the girls finishing now, also had to be super cropped. Really fat, dense,colas with large Trichomes. Partly from New Millennium's Winter Frost. And of course, I'd be lost without without Recharge!
I totally killed spider mites with CO2. I brought them into the bathroom, put a stopper in the tub, laid as many plants as I could in the bathtub and filled it tith CO2, left plants for 1.5-2hrs. It took me 2 tubfulls, did it again 3 days and 3 days later. Bad infestation to zero in 1 week.
Anybody else take a tolerance break here and there? 15 days in and I feel like a new me. And it makes the stash pile up fast. It's a win win, tolerance goes way down, and the flower gets a cure like no other. Great show as always DGC ☮️❤️☮️

Don’t use soil go to coco use silica some of there recharge and grow dots if you wanna use your own recipe buy down to earth ferilizers or you can run it with Gaia green . Also use some fish microbes and mychrroiZae. I’m getting back into growing my first grow was amazing plant but bad flowers this time I’m not cutting corners don’t cut corners.

30” tomato cages are my go too. I did cut off 3” off each leg to keep em shorter but I top em and use the ring to shaped the plant and then I’ll top the lower set of branches I left on below the topping and strain depending they grow almost as tall as the top new mains. But I did grow some gmo punch that let veg to long and tried to go natural my first run of a variety big mistake I let her get 18” tall before flip and had to tie her down so she didn’t grow into LED
I remember my 1st grow, I thought of creating some sort of automatic slowly rotating device to slowly constantly rotate the plant but I then realized that I could just implement side lighting

I grow a wide canopy and support with a bamboo frame i tie together with garden wire so it east to take down. It helps me open the canopy and they support each other. Some are tied to the frame, otherwise the frame floats and sits in the stems. The 1/4 inch bamboo stakes are round and smooth, the frame slips off easily. Only issue is mold, of youre in a humid area, soak your sticks in some low bleach solution or h202 solution.

I run 20s at smallest myself inside 100 biggest for traditional pots otherwise I strictly run earthboxes this is the perfect and best way to grow inside especially for newbies you won’t get an easier grow then an earthbox and an autoflower to get your feet wet even though I’m not an auto guy nore wide leaf either. and lots of lst genetics are a big factor too
Bio arm is great to activate it. You can do it a couple of different ways one you can use worm, castings and let it mix together and basically sit in the container with a cover until you see the food web statue expose it self or you can use grass clippings they say and mix it up with the biochar. All biochar is is basically a special kind Burnwood that has irrigated holes and kind of like her bees hive except it’s all char.

I love fiberglass stakes instead of bamboo. You can reuse them over and over after cleaning them each crop. I have 3-1/2ft stakes for the nursery and 7ft I put on right after I transplant from 7 to 10 gallon pots and they are awesome. I agree too about staking them after the roots hit the walls, it definitely use to make me cringe 😅
I'd rather prefer bamboo. It's the highest source of plant based silica. On par with DE and Azomite. Once they've run their life, mulch them up and use as mulch.
I mean you stake your plant and you may feel bad but for all we know, it feels really good and it allows a long line of oxygen straight down into your root ball
Not going to lie I’m always impressed at the indoor plants in places with limits. Indoor plant that are 5x5 area lb plant. Used to see in Colorado with the 6 plant law. California always had 99 plant count and people would sea of green.

@scotty is co2 a "huge" upgrade? Everything said on previous shows, and the 420 Happy Hour states that it's incremental at best. Can you clarify how much more yield and quality to expect when using co2. To me what would be huge is the expense. It's much more than buying a $120.00 monitor. There are additional expenses when setting up the grow room properly to use co2. Depending on the grower and what they are trying to achieve the added expense may not be worth it.

Stakes are dangerous, larg tomato cages are excellent for 1-3 gallon pots. 5 gal might be pushing a cage, but you can put the branches through the cage and use training wire to hold big buds up
I get a bendable small metal wire from lowes wal mart Home Depot and I cut and bend the metal anyway I want example: I snapped a plant today and used a bend metal circle staked to my plant to hold it up cheap and it works very great.

What happens to outdoor grown mostly indica strains? Do they stay short? Or do they stretch a bit more when flowering? I'll try doing my own research too but was wondering if anyone here had a personal knowledge on the subject
Humboldt seed co has an Indica that clains to get up to 15ft tall outdoors, it's called Humboldt Dream and in a few months I will know first hand. I am growing 3 of them and if they yield the 10lbs each I will be in trim prison for sure. I will also have 3 Blueberry Muffin, 2 Mint Cakes, and 2 Bling. My wife and I are Indica fans but next tent grow will be a Sativa run.

Every time I grow big buds they get moldy. As a result, now 95% of the strains I run are part of the cookies family. Smaller buds = no mold.

Stakes are dangerous, larg tomato cages are excellent for 1-3 gallon pots. 5 gal might be pushing a cage, but you can put the branches through the cage and use training wire to hold big buds up
I get a bendable small metal wire from lowes wal mart Home Depot and I cut and bend the metal anyway I want example: I snapped a plant today and used a bend metal circle staked to my plant to hold it up cheap and it works very great.

What happens to outdoor grown mostly indica strains? Do they stay short? Or do they stretch a bit more when flowering? I'll try doing my own research too but was wondering if anyone here had a personal knowledge on the subject
Humboldt seed co has an Indica that clains to get up to 15ft tall outdoors, it's called Humboldt Dream and in a few months I will know first hand. I am growing 3 of them and if they yield the 10lbs each I will be in trim prison for sure. I will also have 3 Blueberry Muffin, 2 Mint Cakes, and 2 Bling. My wife and I are Indica fans but next tent grow will be a Sativa run.
