18:06 I agree with Dude. My plants rage at 83 F 55-60% RH up until about week 5 then I start bumping the temp down a couple degrees per week. Week 9 and 10 usually run in the mid to high 60s. My herb is very stinky!
It's pretty cool to me how Scotty plays the "amateur" grower role by asking all the simple questions and getting clarification on anything confusing with what, like 30 something years of experience 😂?
68 degrees at the root zone is my main focus. Which usually makes canopy around 72.5 degrees to 75. ill keep that all the way till late flower where ill do some mild cold snaps for them🙂
The more home grow experience I gain, I feel like less is more once you get your plants dialed in. Especially, if you have a solid soil base. I think all the gadgets are cool and fun to play with, it just depends on what your end goal is and would probably be best utilized on established strains in order to test the boundaries.
I noticed problems with Indica dominant plants, indoors, in the summer. They'd really shut down halfway through flower. Daytime and nighttime temps were practically the same, I noticed this happening the second time flowering indoors, in late summer..?! Eventually, I found that if nighttime temps drop around 10°(85° max in the day, so 75° at night), I didn't have any more problems with these Indica dominant plants. For IPM: I love using Insect Frass, High quality Silica, and a liquid Shrimp and Crab meal, with an NPK of 0-4-0, during flowering, especially. Nothing like Chitan, along with Silica for a very defensive plant against many problems. Recharge is a definite, as well! Not just for better growth, but better plant health, as it's symbiotic with everything above working together. These products make my job 10X easier! No pest or mold/mildew symptoms since using these together. Much better quality!👍💯✌️
So I live in a 5th wheel it does not have that good of insulation but I had 6 plants in December that were thriving but right when it hit January they all died I was using at the time was coco coir and now I'm trying straight worm castings is that ok or what should I use with the worm castings and should I wait to grow until March
Straight worm castings is going to be trouble. Not really what I would consider a medium to grow in so much as it should be an input. 10-20,% of your mixture. Mixing the worm castings in your coco is 100% doable, but should be at least a semi calculated imput, not the medium as a whole. If keeping temps up to a viable level for plants to be happy is an issue, you will eliminate more headaches by waiting until your environment is more favorable.
Kyle Kushman "cleaned" up his Strawberry Cough clone, I believe using Tissue Culture. He said it was similar to taking the clone back 10-15 years in time. Better rooting now. Regalia is a plant extract bio stimulant which is approved for cannabis that can be used to treat powdery mildew. It can also be used in a IPM lineup as a preventative. Also Trifecta can be used as a preventative and also as a treatment to limit the damage done by PM. I use both products as a preventative on my outdoor grows.
Maintain bugs manually and use little extra silly and it will be fairly easy to stop infestation , they will still come and sometimes ya cant do anything, but i beleive the silica makes a significant diff for bugs etc, makes stems snappy though, that has been what ive learnt about it
I had pm for the first time after many years. I started seeds from a new to me grower recently, three strains, one each. Two are great, one started showing pm three weeks into flower. Interestingly, I took two clones intending to use one as a mom. Both clones showed pm with days of the plant from seed which was in flower. They were in separate tents and rooms. I struggle to get over 40% humidity. I have multiple fans. I feel the seed was sick. Destroyed all plant material and promix, bags too. Theories ?
The Muskrat 5 second pause lol. Don't forget the outdoor growers dudes. Powdery mildew spread with wheat from middle east. Then it hybridized with north American powdery mildew making it more virulent. Human air quality is best at 50-60% humidity because less mold, mildew, and virus grow in between those humidity. U.P. north the powdery mildew with all the swamps seem to make it worse or different strain. I have p.m. all over my basement. But humidity is in check and have air flow. Usually 60 and 60. But have seen 55-65*F and humidity as low as 42% during negative outdoor temps. White washing my brick and wood has really helped room conditions. The white wash seem to dry quicker. Like silver, honey, and copper it kills bacteria by dehydrating bacteria. By acting as large heat sink. We lost 12 plants outdoor of iss with red stem pheno last year. My wife hunted it at her previous employer. So replacing it with purple ghost and maybe white gummi bear if we can get the one that was crossed with jilly bean. Hoping to cross iss with a p.m. resistant cultivar that matches the iss. That's her cultivar not mine.

Hmm, some species very but not only that but lower temps can be taken advantage of late. But in certain places, it does require pumping AC into the growing area. In trying to keep flowering plants in the 70s, and forgetting to turn off the AC at night, it got the tent down to 45f during the last two weeks. The result was the most magical fading of all, a Wedding Cake turned all red and purple and had a killer taste and smell. Foliar silica is the go i rekon , have to use wetting agent or itle never stick amd soak in , rinse next day for resudue as it should soak into the cell walls enough to be able to wash excess off. Too many applicatioms of sprays could be half the problem sometimes, for those who cant keep themselves from tinkering. I tinkered years ago and the best advise i recieved was stop finger fkn ya plants and just let them grow!, i was following all the additives and sprays 3 times faily sometimes etc , for people learning , i would say most of my pm, bugs and developement was myself holding the plants back , over watering , bouncing from toxicity to over flushing, we learnt some stuff lol. They only other thing worked was chilly and garlic with pyrethering, for the leaf eaters, just my 2cents worth
I think a lot of people avoid spraying because they're afraid of the moisture when fresh water and moisture is better than stale water and moisture... Have a good day guys
What about Marrone Bio?! Regalia saved my Black Cherry Pound Cake this season when I caught PM early. It's been a staple in my IPM since Guru mentioned it.
I suggest throwing out the fans. Setting a 4 or 6 inch blower in 2 corners of tent FLOOR Hanging from pole or sitting on a carbon filter. Air blowing up, cooling light and air circulation .
Bacillus sub and tricaderma foliar spray even recharge helps when spray as an ipm the best is Labs lactic acid bacteria made from barely and rice water. Once I made my 1st batch h to see the difference in aweek how healthy the plant are it’s amazing. LABS foliar sprays work amazing it out competes the PM.
All the psilocybin growers are seriously bent over from laughter. What about Dr. Zymes or neem for maintenance, like before you really see problems maybe like once a week spray?
Ive found the easiest for my lazy ass is to add Basiana Beauveria when it’s a seedling , I use SLF enzymes in the Res & keep the most healthy plant as possible !
When I heard about legalization happening here in MN, I immediately started buying equipment and ordered my seeds. I spent around $500 for the basics tent, light, humidifier, inline fan, clip fan, etc. The first 3 plants I harvested netted me just over 16 ounces and at legacy market prices of $60 1/8th and $350-$400 an ounce, I feel that I made that $500 dollars back, plus saved myself nearly $4500 even factoring in electricity costs.
12 tablespoons of 3percent over the counter hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water and soak the tops and bottoms of leaf, stems and top of soil in the veg stage. about every 3 days or so.
Tesla's lost work is not his. Tesla's lost work is Nathan Stubblefields work. Terra preta works on electric culture to make a para-magnetism. This helps proteins to come together. The water acting with carbons helps stuff come together. Water is adhesive and cohesive. All about giving places for life to happen. Good growing soil is usually black with carbons. All soil everywhere has about same nutrients in it, but just not plant usable nutrients. With the right bacteria, fungus, and carbons the nutrients can be unlocked for plants to use.
Not related to the subject but interesting info! Dating sites ask if you smoke or drink standard questions but now they ask if you use cannabis! I think this shows a positive acceptance of cannabis even in the dating world. We are making a difference and it shows

What about Marrone Bio?! Regalia saved my Black Cherry Pound Cake this season when I caught PM early. It's been a staple in my IPM since Guru mentioned it.
I do lost coast once a week throughly my grow!
if you catch PM early pure crop 1 is killer at keeping it from spreading and its made from natural plant oils and can be used during flower
Baking soda foliar works but leaves a residue.
I suggest throwing out the fans. Setting a 4 or 6 inch blower in 2 corners of tent FLOOR Hanging from pole or sitting on a carbon filter. Air blowing up, cooling light and air circulation .
I spend money on legal prescription weed I don't even like or consume just to have the legal excuse for the smell and being high 😂
2mg silica per gallon and Hydro peroxide works for me
I use plastic sheet to keep the dew of plus fan .
Even though I have a 2 infinity fans but the Temps keeps low 70s lights out and 78 to 81 lights on humidity stays in between 56 and 68

Another very interesting show across avast spectrum. PM never knew what hit it!
Sulver burners change the flavor
how about using build a soils EM5? Jeremy claims that you can get to harvest with this product?
All the psilocybin growers are seriously bent over from laughter. What about Dr. Zymes or neem for maintenance, like before you really see problems maybe like once a week spray?
I’m telling you lost Coast therapy seven day drench, medium strength and veg, prepared to flip eliminated powdery mildew
WRAP CONTAINERS WITH ALUMINUM FOIL.WRAP AROUND STEM. bugs can't get out or in. Use a container that you can pick up & turn upside down for a shower.

Ive found the easiest for my lazy ass is to add Basiana Beauveria when it’s a seedling , I use SLF enzymes in the Res & keep the most healthy plant as possible !
When someone shows you any giant preroll and says "good weed" be weary 😂
Less chance of pm infection when using biological nutrient aposed to salt nutrition .
IDYLIS AIR CLEANER with uv light
Around $200 lowes u light a joint across room the blower goes to hi speed & uv light comes on
Great information
When I heard about legalization happening here in MN, I immediately started buying equipment and ordered my seeds. I spent around $500 for the basics tent, light, humidifier, inline fan, clip fan, etc. The first 3 plants I harvested netted me just over 16 ounces and at legacy market prices of $60 1/8th and $350-$400 an ounce, I feel that I made that $500 dollars back, plus saved myself nearly $4500 even factoring in electricity costs.
Damn. We can get $50 ounces here in northern NY.
Use a smoke bug sprayer to apply , dont get too close
☝🏻💚🌱🌿🌲Grower love n respect DGC. Each one' Teach one this is the way forwards
It is dew will cause mold
Funny i got pm on my first plant ive ever grown this year and i thought it was trichs 😂....I was saying this bud is going to be fire! Lol
Lost coast therapy is the cure
It doesn't hurt the buds. Peroxide.
Brandon Rust is a G and really know his stuff
Its also not safe to blast air from a compressor into your skin my dude so be careful with that...unless your knocking the ptessure down somehow 🤙
The plant is alive though producing more terrines than it loses. Leaf tempeture for faster growth should be up there with LEDs
weed was so expensive we would cut the mold out of the fresh bud dry and smoke loved it o ya im from the tough generation of the 80 and 90 .
Love his comment about Turpines he put you down!
UVC can change DNA. Not what I want for my super, killer, keeper. When I find that keeper, lol!😄😄😄✌️
4 degree swing that would mean I would need like 80 degree nights I can’t agree with that
Not related to the subject but interesting info! Dating sites ask if you smoke or drink standard questions but now they ask if you use cannabis! I think this shows a positive acceptance of cannabis even in the dating world. We are making a difference and it shows
Oh yeah now you mention it i do see that on the squash leaves. Better keep those away...
I heard put hydrogen peroxide in your humidifier that would keep the away is there any science to that
