By the Sleepy Lagoon reminds me when I was a boy, listening to the BBC Home Service programme 'Desert Island Discs' in the 1950s. It was presented by Roy Plumley, the man with the Velvet Voice.

Absolutely beautiful. I'd never heard it fully orchestrated that way before, of course being more familiar with the Harry James recording that became a Number 1 hit in the 40's.

Thank you for sharing a wonderful music piece conducted by Maestro Keith Lockhart.
So relaxing, gentle and helps us to ease our stress up mental.

Très émouvante mélodie. Elle me rappelle les années de guerre 40-45 au Congo. Un des morceau préféré de mon père . Je l'aime très touchante musique, merci

Is that Terry Pratchett without his hat behind the conductor (frequently from about 0:45 ). It looks awfully like him but its hard to say without the hat.

unlikely given that that area is reserved for people who turned up on the night to buy the cheap tickets, which are standing room only

NO! The usually ho-hum full ork. It is much better arranged for small ensemble, like Wm Walton.
