I spent a day with the Cemetery People of the Philippines. 3000 people live within the tombs of this cemetery in Manila. They live here rent free as long as they take care of the tombs and have permission from the families. I met up with a local named Jo Anne, who works closely with the community children. She showed me around the community, we met various locals and she brought me into her home. We later went to the store where I bought some goodies for the local kids. Thank you for showing me your unique community.
If you'd like to visit here and be toured around by Jo Anne, you can contact her on whats app: +63 920 542 0727

Youre brave, well you have to be a little bit crazy to survive in this often cruel world!☺in the mid 60's when i was but a tyke we used to live in one of the gates of the Manila South Cemetary and in the 90's inside the Paranaque Municipal Cemetary, Flipinos have a saying " matakot ka sa buhay huwag sa patay" be afraid of the living not the dead!

How sad! This is the state of millions of Filipinos all over the country. Living in poverty. So many citizens being unproductive. Just going by their day drinking or smoking or just simply doing nothing. Kids should be in school but they’re not.
The government can’t provide proper housing for their people. Poor education system. Corruption is deep and wide. Stop romanticizing poverty and the Filipinos’ resilience.

Blame Ferndinand Marcos and other corrupt politicians for squandering the country's money. These people are doing what they can to survive. I give them kudos. Heck, there are homeless encampments in the US; and folks making sanctuary cities look like $hit.

Eto ang mga problema ng pinas:
    1. Corruption
    2. Wala tayong modernong infrastructures.
    3. Wala tayong modernong transportation
    4. Trapik
    3. Mahina or walang internet
    4. Nawawalan ng kuryente (brownout)
    5. Mahina or nawawalan or walang tubig
    6. Nakawan at kikilan sa NAIA airport
    7. Expensive accomodations
    8. Maraming mandurukot, snatchers, kriminal, drug pushers at mga addict
    13. Illegal squatters, street dwellers and beggars everywhere, particularly children asking money from foreigners.
Tapos sasabihin natin "Its more fun in the Phlippines" ??? Nakakahiya ! Tourism will boost our local economy kasi foreigners spend money in our country which helps our local business to earn more. The local and national government MUST do something to solve/fix these problems.
