Definitely an huge improvement over the original,i never tout that someone would come along and add many elements from the GBA version into this version,this is definitely mind blowing,it resurrect that wooow feeling from the past when you played it for the first time,just incredible.
For anyone who's having issues on finding the secret exit on Vanilla Secret 1 , it just requires to use the P-Switch and the coin trailing towards the nearest pipe

Toad, the extra dinosaurs, power up system and graphic improvements of Just Keef And the intro and beta content of 30th Anniversary Edition As well as the level improvements, new enemies and new music of both!
Nice Ripper Rush. I think you got at least 25 lives from those. Also, you can Cheese the Forest Ghost House by flying up over the divider wall at the end of the tunnel.
I just discovered this rom hack and I gotta say it's absolutely fantastic. This is without a doubt the definitive version of the game bringing all the best aspects of the GBA version like the status screen, improved save system, the ability to play as Luigi and the list goes on. I would love to see someone make a hack like this for the All Stars version of Mario Bros 3 brining over the enhancements from Advanced 4

I love this hack, I was going to do the bonus stages, but my file was broken by a glitch where I was placed out of bounds on the world map with 0 exits and the post-special world graphics after 100%ing the game and couldn’t move and the only thing I can do is to reset the game. Apparently someone else got it too, but we don’t know why.
where the secret path in vanilla secret 1? Tried searching but it's nowhere , and I try to look for it with this video but it is hard for me to find the exact minute

@@besihodja393 Adding the helmet would screw with cutscenes. I did think about doing that for when all 96 exits were found, even the angel wings but it wouldn’t work with how I have everything set up. Same with the looking down animation. What I want to do though is add the tanooki leaf but the current options only replace the feather and the only one that adds powerups could break the game and even then the tanooki leaf isn’t coded well (even author of said patch said it’s not worth it).
Can't use backup Power-ups; some enemies and projectiles move faster and chase you and jump higher, and some you can't (normally) jumped on, the cauldron of Swoopers are more dangerous in numbers, et cetera, etc.

I love this hack in concept, but I don’t like the lighting at the top of the grass and that Banzai Bill was lower than it was supposed to be. I also prefer Luigi’s SMA2 sprite and functionality.
Banzai Bills in hard mode fire at your y position and the current public version of the hack gives Luigi his SMA2 physics. The current version that’s private has a ton of bugs fixes and aims to be the final version with a lot of edits to levels and boss fights etc.
In V3, the bird lights up the cave stages with a flashlight on Hard Mode, something that the original game was going to have but was cut during development. LadiesMan basically made this version of SMW the most complete one out there with all the enhancements of Advance 2 plus a few tweaks of his own, like the Valley of Bowser stages having an actual thunderstorm in them instead of it only being on the world map itself.
A very impressive hack, adding in the GBA intro. This is the first hack I'm aware of that adds anything new before the old title screen. Just a shame the hacker calls himself LadiesMan217 and switched out the Nintendo text with a name that sounds like an online stalker 🤦♂️

The current version as of right now has it start off a little bit harder and by the timer you reach the end it’s almost like contra levels of hard with the game expecting you to know the controls.

With as much stuff as they added (from the GBA version, and the additional music), there probably wasn't enough ROM left to add in the "1-Player, Swappable characters" coding, or to add Luigi to the ending staff-roll montage, and they had to leave Luigi as the 2nd Player protagonist. But it's likely they used his GBA sprites where applicable, and it probably looks so much better than the original SMW+SMAS Sprite... There's only so much coding the SNES (or an emulator) can process and run without crashing. That holds true for ANY console (or it's respective emulator).
@@fco64 Really? I think SMA2 Luigi looks horrible, his face specifically looks weird, but that's just my opinion (but you have to admit that SMAS+W Luigi is the most well known one)
You have no idea how much development time was preciously cut in order to meet Nintendo's absolute demanding deadline. Even Mitamoto himself has confirmed this, saying that SMW was rushed.

If you press the r button on the map screen you can change to luigi like in the gba version, just discovered that

I don't know if it's Hard Mode doing that, but the bonzai bills seem to fire at Mario's height instead of their pre-placed height.
