Me and my brother would have totally been blown away had we been able to play levels as both Mario and Luigi at the same time together in Mario World on the Super Nintendo. How awesome is this!!
I can honestly say this is better than the original. As fun as it was when it came out, having a co-op mode would have made it perfect. We always hated waiting our turn while the other player ran through a level alone

I sometimes would play this with my youngest aunt, my mother, and my younger bro back in the early 90s and while I was winning with mario most times, they always had to die with luigi and we'd have to wait until the other died before it was the other's turn lol good times! they dont make games like this no more
I enjoy how this isn’t some insane, overly difficult ROM hack, but just the original game, with the added feature of playing as both Mario and Luigi at the same time! Growing up, me and my cousin would’ve had a blast with this if this were the actual game!

Now this is more realistic by having two people in the same levels at the same time. Even on the older make you couldn’t be in the same aplevel like that, but take turns. This is more like the donkey Kong style games.

I used to think there was a secret exit behind the tall, thick wall in the second room of Morton’s castle, also a secret exit in ludwigs castle, in the third room where the thin wall behind question mark block was. But sadly just because there’s space behind and below those castle walls didn’t mean there was a key there… I also thought vanilla ghost house had a secret exit in the final room way above the far end of the green floating ghosts.

You need to download the co-op mod. This allows you to play both at the same time instead of turn based like in the original game. You can search 'super mario world co op hack'

Why didn't you let Mario or Luigi ride Yoshi?
@@Seven71987 yoshi is available only in single player mode. Becomes 1up when in co-op mode
You or the person who made this should make a patch to make both Players ride Yoshi (New Super Mario Bros. Wii style). Though it is a great rom hack
if it weren't for the lack of Yoshi and those deaths at the beginning of the match, the rom would be perfect.
You guys can do the full game of New Super Mario Bros. U for the Wii U in 4 players with 99 lives doing the 100% with gold flags and no deaths.

how did u get passed world 2-castle? for me it kept killing mario and luigi when they entered the door
I combined multiple patches to fix it. However, luigi is still unable to use certain platform and mario had to clear the stage without him.
