Was going to buy a SGS jack but seen some bad reviews on them. Think I will go with one of these now. I have the Advance ratchet set and thats is spot on. Had it 10 years now and it takes some abuse never had a problem with it. Halfords Trolley jack it is. Thanks for a good honest review
Jus bough one of these jacks the 3 tonne Halfords jack, down from £168 to £128 plus a promo code I got it for £115 unbelievable. I think it looks a great jack.
Excellent vid mate, I especially enjoyed where you can jack the TT up as I'm always so conscious about the jack point and the bit need the skirting as its prone to crumpling
Came here for the Jack review and ended up enjoying your advice on jacking points and so forth. That has always been the worst thing for me, trying to support the car with the bloody jack where I wanted the axle stand lol.
I bought the exact same one last year to replace the piece of crap SGS low profile jack I had. This Halfords one is without a doubt the best trolley jack I've personally owned in 22 years of playing with cars and that's a fair few jacks in that time.
This is jusssst perfect for me.. I'm looking for a good tool to jack my Roadster.. ( scarry experience with a 25€ jack on the last weekend) Cheers mate! Greetings from Barcelona!!

SGS customer service can be a bit iffy, plus their delivery costs are a joke at times
I bought a Halfords quick lift jack second hand about 10 years ago. Never let me down. Probably made by SIP or Sealey
Nice one bro excellent review was gonna get the aluminium one but ive got the cheaper steel 3 tonne instead from your review 👏

Nice review, I tend to go for the Machine mart Jacks as they last forever
Just bought one of these new and out the box it won't stay up any advise?
Take it back, as you would with any faulty product
Great vids, very helpful. Wish you were closer to give my mk1 cupra r a once over 🤞🏼
Did you return it to test the guarantee?
Used it all day everyday since this video and it hasn’t gone wrong, so no need to test the Guarantee yet
