What happens if one parent is capable of working, but chooses not to work? As asked below, how do you calculate their portion so the burden is not on the working parent? In this situation I am speaking of. She has a college degree. They have been separated for 7 years. When the separated, she quit her job and hasn't worked since. Your input would be really appreciated. Thank you

If wife is not currently working shouldn't they calculate her earning potential from her last job in the child support calculation? Meaning if she was capable of earning 15 dollars an hour shouldn't that wage be added to the calculation instead of putting zero earning for her .?

The self employed serial financial cheaters will find a way to pay very little or close to nothing.
