To new RBTs… I have a 3 month old baby and a 5 year old. All I did was rewatch these videos and watch additional ones that he would link within the videos and then do mock exams. Thanks to Mauricio’s videos I passed my exam today. With little time to study because of my kids, If I can do it than anyone can.🎉🎉🎉
I just got bronchitis & a tear on my insides. So, my co put me out for ..well until I pass my rbt exam. Which I scheduled for way later 🥴. I'm gonna take this off time to study & not strain myself too much. Maybe start feeling excited for myself ,with a good time, by rescheduling earlier 🤓. While I get to use my bumpkin bumpkins daycare time for when I study. & That's not an excuse. She's legitimately a mini terrorizer. Id say she eats all my homework but she kinda really does. I chipped in at our Halloween party & rugrat said heeey 😋😍, don't mind if I do, chips! Wish me luck. Bc studying w/ her around is I know, I just know my Chucky is getting into something! She's entering terrible 2s. Not quite literally there but there. Still feeling overwhelmed tho. Although the way he breaks down all the components makes it seem less intimidating. & I wouldn't say I have the greatest trust in my co workers, considering how long They took to turn over my competency. I guess it got me in a little discouraged funk. But here I finally am, & according to the comments, well, I'm remaining hopeful. Prob in poor taste that I'm venting but so was trying to act like it wasn't that big of a deal to slow down my process. Now, I need to regain the momentum with all my events going on all at once. It's now or never.

Sharifa Brown I did the competency test through the job I was hired with and no it wasn’t. The BCBA that did the competency assessment with me explained each part that was listed on the paper in detail and gave me an example of what each section meant and then tested me on it. And the exam honestly is just like the questions on aba rocks. If you can get all the questions right on aba rocks like their mock exam and practice questions in each section then you’ll definitely pass the exam

I am an auditory learner so I listened to this series a couple times (few weeks ago and then couple days before the exam)& skimmed over the study guide!! Ahhhh when i started at my agency i was overwhelmed and worried I wouldn’t pass. It’s my 3rd and i was like 😵💫. But all these comments have me excited and encouraged again, I’m gonna study my butt off wish me luck 🤞🏾

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Yesterday I sat for my exam for the first time. I passed! I enjoyed these videos immensely. Mauricio has a wonderful way of explaining things that may seem complex to a beginner in a way that is relatable and easy to remember. But honestly my main source of study came from watching all of these videos like 5 times over and I was so confident while taking the exam. Good luck, you’ll do great!!!!
I was very nervous before taking my exam. I studied my notes, flash cards, took sample tests, etc...when I found these videos. I found them informative and helpful, with lots of insight and even humor. I like how things were broken down by section and included hints on what to expect. There’s a lot of terminology to remember and these videos helped so much with that, and gave great examples. When I took the exam, many of the examples given here came to mind. I honestly don’t think I would’ve passed without these videos. Many thanks!!!

For anyone that is worried about the test, I didn't absorb a lot of material from the 40 hr modules so I was freaking out about what I was going to use to study. I HIGHLY recommend watching these exam review videos and all the videos that he suggests to view. He also created a study guide to go along with these videos! A lot of positive comments and that’s great. Anyone out there that failed the test? I took mine today and failed by 10 points. So disappointed and mad at myself. I used these videos as a study guide but I guess I have to try harder or borrow a brain. Having to pay again to retake the test sucks
