is there any tell at all to all the invisible doors in the game/corridors that look like walls? or wait, this is a speedrun, so maybe there are other ways to get through i suppose... most of them look like there wouldn't be though
Yes. In game, you can press R+X to hide layer 2, which reveals some hidden pathways. It's a core mechanic in saria's gardens, speedruns obviously don't care. There's also npcs telling you about the locations of secret passages. When playing casually, you're supposed to take notes of a few things useful later.
@@The_SOB_II The guardhouse thing? it was pretty brutal yeah, surprisingly one of the hardest part of the game. Welp, I'm sorry you spend time installing the hack if you didn't play it much ^^
How do you save? I bought a copy recently from Singapore and if I die or even select Save/Quit it restarts from Links house and is obviously extremely frustrating.
I actually bought a cartridge version of 1.0 on this game. I can't do a single damned thing in this game. No stun, no saves, and if I get killed, it starts all the way back over in my bed. Literally no progress is saved. I hate it...
Looks like it's v1.23, since it spells "cemetery" correctly (it was spelled "cemetary" in v1.0) 0:54 and does not misspell "Nayru's Bay" as "Naryu's Bay" (which was done in v1.1) 21:13 Edit: corrected myself
Such a good game, I'm always playing it on my SNES Classic

@@Darkxellmc OIC thx. I never got past the Hyrule castle replacement so I didn't talk to many NPCs

You can only Save/Quit once you get the sword from your uncle.

Do you use a controller trying to figure out if i should invest on one or not
I'm playing on a SNES, using an original Super Famicom controller. I think it's worth it if you plan on playing a lot.
@@Xelna how do you even download and play this game?
