BIG WAVES in The Bahamas! Full time TRAWLER cruising family!

Join us this week on ‪@ABOARDMERMAIDMONSTER‬ as we cruise our trawler over to the top of the Exuma island chain. In this episode we leave Chub Cay marina very early and do a 70 mile cruise to our anchorage at Highborne Cay. The cruise was a very sea sick worthy one. With waves that were choppy and spaced together, it made for a horrible ride. Wave height is not everything, duration/spacing has alot more to do with how the ride will be. Once we arrived at Highborne Cay, we explore what this beautiful island has to offer. We loaded up our bikes and cruised around the horse shoe shaped island, stopping to explore its white sandy beaches. We also buzzed over to Allen cay to check out the famous Iguana beach! The kids were not in to this stop! If you are new here, welcome. We are the Palmer family. We have been living full time aboard our Nordhavn 55 for about three years now.
