BUSTED IN THE BAHAMAS? A FUNNY BOATING LIFE STORY!

- Join us this week as we enjoy Chub Cay in the Bahamas and then set out to travel down through Nassau to Highbourne cay. Highbourne is a pretty standard stop for most yachts transiting the Exuma chain. It is kinda the first island anchorage that is deep enough and easy for all types of vessels. We hope you enjoy our story time with you because it was SUPER comical and funny to us. We wondered why the Customs agent was questioning us so dang much. It didn’t click until after we got back to the boat. This episode is filled with just good old real life family cruising. The big kids are helping a lot more behind the camera so please understand that is why it is shakier and blurrier than normal. They are getting used to the settings, but they gotta learn sometime! Anyway stick around the next few Sundays with us as we enjoy the Bahamas and actually have some pretty serious drama hit. We post every Sunday at 9am ET!

That Damon yacht you saw there with the blue paint job that sort of start at the bow gotten around the bow and down the hull that's what you guys need as an explorer yet those things are awesome. Also I Noticed that Leo has Braden's nose and pin has Brooks nose which is kind of interesting and how genetics work you guys have an excellent Sunday

The customs story was hillarious! No need to ever apologize for the scenes where Penn is a little unsteady with the camera. We’ve all been in the position of learning new things. I think it’s great that he’s doing it and hopefully he is enjoying it!

Hey Guys, thank you for sharing your story... Was the US warning for the Bahamas, was this before, or after the American couple with their catamaran was hijacked, then murdered by the three escaped Bahamian convicts?
So that wasn’t the Bahamas. That was down in Grenada which is bottom of the Caribbean chain.. or at least that’s what I think you are referring to? He was referring to the crime that is happening in one particular area of Nassau in the Bahamas.

So Mrs Mermaid is a Captain and pregnant but she’s doing the heavy lifting, dock lines, cooking etc and Mr Mermaid is twisting joysticks and chatting on the camera. I think the duties should be reversed.
Haha he does most of the heavy lifting. I chose to do that for my exercise for the day. We reverse roles all the time but I can see how it appears that way here! ❤️
