I bought this plate and if I wait until the paint is dry, the paper always sticks on the plate. I tried a lot of different papers, same result. Any ideas why it sticks on the plate?

We are sorry to read this 😔 You need a mixed media paper, and it should be at least 180 g/m2, this is very important to make sure it will work properly 🙏

@@craftelieronlinestore thank you it seems that I didn´t let try enough the paint. Now I give it a little bit more time and it worked. But now the plate itself is so sticky that I need 15-20 minutes to pull off the paper. Even the brayer stick on the plate and I can´t roll it. I already contacted the suppport

@@suedolan9565 The paper doesn´t stick anymore. It was because the paint wasn´t completly try. Although I thought it was. Now I let it try 10 Minutes or longer. Don´t believe the videos in which they pull off the paper after a few strokes with the hand over the paper. But the plate itself is so sticky that it takes me 15-20 minutes to get the paper off. Even the brayer sticks on the plate and I can´t roll it at the beginning.

I also have this problem with the Craftelier plate. It’s incredibly sticky and seems to be pure luck whether I can get the paper off cleanly or not.

The craftelier plate is extremely sticky, almost cannot remove anything from it. I was trying out high quality bristol paper, different waiting times, different thickness of high quality mediums, acrylic paints

We are sorry to hear this 😔To get the most out of this gel printing plate, ideally, apply paint, put the paper and wait between 10 minutes and half an hour, depending on each case (humidity, temperature, paper ...). I am very disappointed with the product. I tested it, and as soon as the color dries on the paper, the paper cannot be removed from the gel plate. Mine is now damaged after two attempts.
