I think you don't need to add corn starch for the cheese tart. If you have it without, it is already a standard cheesecake recipe (like the Basque Burnt Cake) which will add colour and stabilise the solid form. In this case, it saves you time on freezing the tart and then apply the egg yolk. You might not need that and can achieve the similar result.

It's delicious! I like it creamier inside. In Brazil we call it "pastelzinho de Belém" ("little pastry from Bethlehem") or just "pastel de Belém" ("pastry from Bethelem"). I would never understand if I read "egg tart" without the images hahaha Ehat matters is that it's good 😂
@@ruskersobrancelhas1231 Macau was a Portuguese territory. So its the colony version of the traditional recipe but they're both still Portuguese. Also, as far as the Porto version of the Natas goes, the consistency was pretty spot on here.

Tarts looked good but all not fully-properly cooked. Time-Stamp @ 10:12, 19:20, 27:29, you can see all the crust and custard still raw not cooked😮😮
