Gun Shops , Hobby Stores & Pet Shops in that order . Such a warm cosy feeling. Like it but thats more for those lucky enough to have the 3 and 6s to sort of round out a collection.
Nice job going over the Typhon Grom. I must say it is easy to control and jumps nicely. It's so cool that you took it to the track and tested it. The little guy has lots of potential. Awesome!
Dude I need to buy one for my grandson he is 6. I bought a DeeRC can’t remember the model last Christmas! He loves it super fast for a 16th scale! Thanks Mark from Cedar Creek TEJAS,👊🏼
Took this to my outdoor track and didnt clear any jumps but rolling over and catching some air with it was a blast 😂 all it needs is a little bit more power to clear the jumps and some tires and this car will turn some heads
I picked up a blue Typhon grom about two weeks ago and drove it at my local 1/10 track and it cleared all the doubles there then I bought the red grom and that one will become my mod machine.
Great review, I have the castle mamba max2 in mine and it’s extremely fast I made it a speed car. I’m going to buy a another and leave it stock so I can have best of both worlds
People that are having a problem with gears are talking about the internal spider gears of the diffs they are plastic...you can buy upgraded diffs that have metal internal spider gears....I have had no issues with the Typhon Grom, I don't have the Granite!!!
Looking to get something for a buddy of mine to get him into the hobby. Im just getting back in myself since my Tamiya Blackfoot in '87. Local shops out of the Losi mini's, but they got these. Worth grabbin or waitin for the Losi's to come back in stock? Just found your channel recently, good stuff!
@@ianjohnhorwood2605 there are 3 LHS near me and none carry any LC racing products. Plus none of the major online retailers carry them. Support is almost nil, parts are days if not weeks away. For Racing purposes it makes almost no sense to campaign a LC racing product.
The diffs are metal. But the internals are not. You have to get the oil filed options who have metal insides.. thats just a big downside of the groms if you are not caredul. They are 25$ a pop
Was thinking about that too. They had brushless in mind when they designed the associated and they're extremely durable. Time will tell but Arrma does a good job of listening to us customers IMO lol.
I can’t believe more people aren’t on this Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator Mark… my lord is this thing just awesome in so many ways! And no! Nobody needs to move the esc to put 3s-4s batteries in it. There are all sorts of batteries you can get that fit… I’ll bet that you have several yourself… you have every battery they make, right Mark? Lol
is it worth spending money on upgrading to a brushless system ? Actually you'd be better off just buying the brushless / lipo version LC RACING EMB-1H buggy for for £200 UK pounds , which is capable of 45 or 50 mph when run on 3S , depending how capable your lipo batteries are . Then when you go to the track just use a 2S battery . LC RACING is the best quality and bang for your buck you can buy for £200 UK pounds . I have both 14th scale LC RACING EMB-RA RALLY CAR and BUGGY
Now if it didn't have the stupid 2 in 1 esc/rx. So basically have to throw out all electronics. Have my typhon sitting here. HW esc and motor going in, another RTR radio. Oh and battery junk because its a G2 and has no balance plug. No one is going to run an ic2. So sadly once more power is added it needs diffs. And since almost everything has been replaced might as well do the shocks too. So one pile of crap to go on ebay. But the car is cute.
I would love to see you do a brushless conversion and tire change and see how it does on track
Wont be surprised if it does that to a teton instead lol

Couldn’t agree more! I thought i was the only one 😂
@@Artieb_az It is Mans inner craving for mechanical things and pet shops are just great for everybody.
My local gun shop is also a rc hobby shop lol.
I’ve really been enjoying this little Grom. A lot of fun for the price. Well balanced

Wicked Awesome
Buy more RC
Rc is Love
Love MSM

Perfect timing for my lunch break! Thanks Mark, great little rig, especially for the price!
Go brushless 2in1 motor combo thing with fly
Got this little guy yesterday…love it! Handles just as well as my arrma 3s big rock..not anywhere near as fast.. but still one fun little buggy
I would love to see a brushless Kraton Grom.
would love to see a video of this racing a losi mini-b on the track! would be a cool comparison i think.
A Castle Mamba Micro X2 would go great in that thing! Let's see a brushless conversion Mark!!

I just picked mine up today, I freaking love it!
The Typhon GROM’s wheelbase makes it look more like a 1/16 scale, I’m gonna be getting one within the next few weeks
I just bought one. I was running it and kept getting interrupted lol. It was soooo fun. Then realized I only had it on 75%. lol. Thing rips on 100%
Got mine today, very fun car
Got the Granite Grom, still new in the box! Will have the new Mojave Grom this Friday! Will be getting the buggy next! Thanks for the vid !
had no intention but you gave me a bit of hope lol

Have you seen the new traxxas 1" aluminum beadlocks for the trx4m 😱
Aye nice lil car!
Looking good sir, capable little machine
Looks fun enjoy the weekend bro
Such a great video mark im getting a sledge in a few weeks.
I’m going to pick up a blue one.

That thing handles!!
Great video! I've been waiting for this one!

I like the set up
What size are the wheels? It would be awesome if they could go back scaling the size like the old 8IGHT Mini that could run 1/10 12mm wheels.
I was looking for a rc racers perspective on the typhon grom
You did a review of the reflex 14b a little while back. Can you do a comparison video or shed some light on which one is better
LC RACING EMB-1H brushless / lipo version is better than both .

Release the Kraton Grom!!
Was the throttle limiter set to 50% ? It feels faster IRL at least, so might just be the video
dope!!!!
Want to know how the typhon grom compares to the team associated reflex 14b (ongaro or gamma)
Was thinking about that too. They had brushless in mind when they designed the associated and they're extremely durable. Time will tell but Arrma does a good job of listening to us customers IMO lol.
Put a castle motor in it!!!
Put a brushless hobby wing in mine dose 42 on 2s
Oh yeah this thing is awesome I speed test it and got 22 mph, not really fast but it is really durable I would recommend getting it.:)
Pretty good for a small scale, brushed motor car!
Yes my Grom, my diff failed

Good evening brother cool video nice review
For the size of the grom it’s definitely not cheap. The Gorgon, now that’s a cheap RC. The Groms are pretty on par or above small scale RC prices
PRETTY KOOL 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Compare it to the Losi mini b

Hey mark have you made trades before?
I really wish they would make them brushless I don't really like brushed
VS Mini B
Love everything about the car BUT the bottom of then transmitter it would stand ,have to lie it on iits back .why angle the bottom grrrrr.
Is Mojave next
If it was priced right ( 99.99) MAYBE
It's a traxxas e revo 1 /16

👍🏾💯
Arrma aint expensive enough for me
I would buy one if it was at least $300. 🤔 Maybe they will negotiate.
I'll wait for the $100 sale or less coming eventually. Not a big fan of rcs smaller than 1/10.
It's a major disappointment, I'm a arrma guy,but come on. It's a slow, brushed pos and a hundred dollar to expensive
Hey Mark i thought the only hobby store near you is Traxxas store? 🤡
