She’s holding the arrow out of shot, so that when she suddenly raises her hand they can make it look like she caught it mid flight. She has to jerk it suddenly into position looking at where Hemsworth is supposed to be. Blunt reacts so brilliantly Theron thinks she’s actually hit her with it.

They red the script probably one hundred times before reaching this point of filming + the sets aren't that dark & scary like they were made in post-production. Neither there were those black knights or men in heavy armor... I guess it was more like doing a play of Midsummer Night Dream, Hamlet or Magic Flute for them, just in front of filmmakers.
I'm sure the Charlize behaves like that with people she feels comfortable around.... just like anyone else.. but I do wish to see these 2 together again on film! LOVED it!!!!

She is remarkably intelligent and educated, it is such a pleasure to have discussions or play chess or Go with her.
Emily Blunt had already rejected Marvel twice. First the role of Black Widow and second for an undisclosed role, which might as well be Captain Marvel. I love Emily and would definitely love to see her but at that point I don't think it's fair to be mad at Marvel.
I feel like they would be the two friends in high school who are super cool but have their inside jokes and then you say something and they look at eachother and crack one of their jokes and laugh and you're there like Are they making fun of me? but when they realize you're uncomfortable they'll make sure you are alright lol
