One thing alot of football fans who champion Toney for Arsenal is that they forget he lacks any pace in behind & can't effectively run the channels via carries/sheer movement off the ball. He's another ball to feet type who's good in aerials and hold up but doesn't solve Arsenal's problem of lacking inevitability on counter attacks or even forcing opportunities out of nothing through stretching mid blocks with runs into channels or behind. This is where Arsenal failed to punish City at Etihad, Bayern away, Villa 2nd half at home, Porto away & the Liverpool loss in FA Cup. Brentford struggled even when Toney came back because they missed their pace outlet in Mbuemo. United game at G Tech stadium is a good example of how limited Toney is as he failed to capitalize on Maguire when running in behind. This is why profile of Isak/Oshimen or even the guy at Sporting makes much more sense than Toney. He's abt overrated
Nobody at Arsenal were serious about Toney. Only rival fans wanted him to come and sabotage Arsenal.

Sesko cost only 55m pound at release clause. If he fail gunner won lose much but if sesko is a hit . Then he is worth above 100m. Besides sesko can rotate with havertz too. Md/dm should be priority because he is aging, injury prone and last yr contract, he should be the one be replaced asap to up our lvl.put money on dm or md instead of striker.

Football is not linear, all these man talking about Arsenal NEED to sign a striker, we don't. We need the right players, and if the right player(s) aren't available there's no point grabbing the wrong players just to have a traditional lineup.
If your clueless manager spends 700m on 27 signings and still has your small club 5 - 6 players short of a side good enough to challenge for the Carabao Cup then the problem is clearly him!
