Our defensive structure back in the time was so poor. I've seen an interview of Gael Clichy saying in a french podcast recently that when he signed for City he understood right away that he would never win anything significant for Arsenal.

Clichy won epl with arsenal. Also he was the main culprit of why arsenal lost an epl , when we were crusing. He refused to clear the ball away at Birmingham
