Let's Restick Some Cutting Mats

I thought today I would share my process on cleaning and resticking cutting mats, Here are the products I used:

great video Stacy on re sticking our mats. I did mine too strong and it just wouldn't let go of the paper so I lost my cut out but I cleaned it off and did it more carefully . I wish I had seen this video before I cleaned my mats. thanks for the demo.. seeing is so helpful..........good show. and useful too for most of us. pat

Great review question: I have a scan n cut and I want to know can the 2 way glue be used on my mat and can my fabric stick well, when I cut on my scan n cut mat?

Will the glue dry and become perminant and have to be removed over and over?

You can just set in a room to dry or hang them up with clothespins on a hanger

I have restuck mine many times. I think as long as the mat is in good shape and usable you can restick it

Hi Stacy. I was wondering if there is another kind of glue besides Aleenes to make glue dots. Michael’s is no longer carrying that glue 😢

I know Amazon carries the glue. Any repositionable glue will work to make glue dots

If you use a ratio of 1t of glue to 2t of water, you will not need to then go over the mat with a shirt.
