That cameraman probably has the most dangerous job. He has to film the scene while at the same time keeping up with the Assassins and also keeping an eye on where he is walking so he doesn't fall and seriously injure himself.
Barrage Collage Yeah and in this case the camera man was afraid of heights. Props to him for bothering to conquer his fears for our entertainment. Also the $$$ :)
Honestly I think it's pretty irresponsible - on a shoot like this it's necessary to have some safety people on set - and probably even a guy to be holding the camera guy as he runs across the roof so that if he slips he'll be ok
I just HAVE TO imagine, what it looked like, when there was a guy with a camera, chasing four assassins and gets chasen by another guy with a camera at the same time. AAAAAND on a rooftop xD
Stuff like this makes me want to do parkour as well. Sadly, however, I already have a hard time climbing over a small fence, so I'll just stick to watching guys like these perform their amazing stunts.
I definitely hear you. But tbh anyone can do parkour, and yes, it is very good if you have lots of physical strength. But most of it comes from confidence and experience, you'd be surprised.
I just love to see the behind the scene footage not only cause it´s nice to know how it was make much more because you guys get kicked out everywhere and that´s kinda funny
I love that you post the behind the scenes footage for your shoots! It really helps someone like me who is aspiring in a film/video career get a sense of what needs to go into a production. Awesome work as always!

@@mariusjueska , Does that mean there will be a camera man filming a camera man filming a camera man chasing four assassins on a rooftop to be able to get a behind the scenes of behind the scenes!
devingraham Well, to be fair, yes you can, we've had parkour movies shot down here in France, with all the necessary permits. BUT : it takes ages to obtain them, costs a shit load of money, like you'd need security nets all around the building, policemen to stop the cars in the adjacent streets, 3 first-aid firefighters vehicules, insurance, and so on... So not impossible, but hard and costly, yes.
I gotta give it to Devin for putting his fear of heights aside to film those scenes from the rooftops. One look over the edge and my knees would've wanted to buckle. 😬
It made me smile when the one assassin caught his foot on the barrier. The closest I've ever come to doing parkour was in my teens, when my friend tried to get me to jump over a wall with her. I was monumentally clumsy and a massive coward, so it really wasn't a good idea anyway, but I realised just how big a mistake it was when I caught my foot, started pitching forward and thought "it's lower on this side!!!" It also didn't help that the pavement in my "flight trajectory" had broken, so I was going to land, head first, on a nice sharp piece of tarmac. My friend thought she'd killed me, thank goodness for the jujitsu lessons my Mum made me take, which taught me how to fall. Not only did I tuck into a shoulder roll, I came back to my feet, facing my attacker (er, the wall...) in stance, ready to defend myself. And I never jumped over any other walls in my life! Once was enough, thank you!!!

It's hard to tell, but since Paris is a capital city, that guy could have been a private security guard working at one of the embassies. I live in London and you're not allowed to use cameras on streets with embassies. If not, maybe he was referencing that article of the European Human Rights Act to do with surveillance and privacy etc.
Could have been private property. And he said they were not allowed on the rooftops, probably because, like I said before, private property and/or residential area.
I knew it was Ronnie! It's so easy to recognize because of his arms are always a bit scooping when he's running. Good to have you back in AC meets parkour! :D
These people, and Ubisoft or whoever hires them, are so incredibly stupid. They are breaking the law repeatedly and aren't using safety equipment. If these guys keep doing stuff like this, especially jumping off buildings and such, someone will die or get very seriously injured. Based on what safety procedures I see them not taking, I am 100% sure of this. Eventually, someone will die and the company that was foolish enough to hire these clowns will end up in a fair amount of legal trouble. Such foolish children. That said, very impressive video.
They aren't "hired" by Ubisoft, only Devin is affiliated with them. Ubisoft gives Devin funds to create the clips and Devin will hire his own team. The Traceurs are hired by Devin and are not at all affiliated with Ubisoft. In case any accidents/injuries happen during filming Ubisoft will not have any liability for it.
I thought the whole deal was staged. Wow! Thumbs up for guts. And the camera work, I assumed it was done with a drone following the actors. So freakin' awesome!

We french are too serious about our monument security. Too bad for us. We can't appreciate a good video bts when it shows up
Talk about taking one for the team! You guys are friggn off the hook! And I LOVE the add-lib directing!
I don't know what makes me the more happy : the fact it happened in my hometown or the fact that thoses guys are amazing.

Adam Wood this is the 4th though?
Oops! Sorry then my mistake :)
Adam Wood :-)
;)
2:47 are you crazy guys?
Ikr. When I saw that I just went "Oh, good lord..."
I knew it was Ronnie! It's so easy to recognize because of his arms are always a bit scooping when he's running. Good to have you back in AC meets parkour! :D
these guys should have 10M subs cause of how awesome they are. and cause of how much danger they are put through to make this possible
They should invest in a drone, less dangerous...
+Mogami Kyoko But much harder to use plus its always rainy and windy there. Also some City's it is illegal to use a drone.
They usually work in their own country, I don't know the laws but apparently the "illegal" part won't be a problem for them. They run fast.
Your second comment at the end made me die of laughter xD Have a great day :)
You must be fun at parties
You'd be surprised how rare it is for "professional" free runners to get seriously injured.
Free running/Parkour is generally unsafe. Sorry to tell you :/
"Such foolish children", they are all over the age of 21 and therefore are considered adults by the law. The phrasing is quiet conceited.
They look like women from behind, anyone else think?
I thought the whole deal was staged. Wow! Thumbs up for guts. And the camera work, I assumed it was done with a drone following the actors. So freakin' awesome!
@3:51 that second assassin is wearing the "Bruh I want my screen time too" look all over his face 🤣💯. Good work bruv.
