My friends growing up were all into video games when we were kids, but as we got older, I'm the only one that kept it as a hobbie, and am still as passionate about it today as I was back then. They all went off video games, and I don't hang around with any of them any more.

Your personality is so positive and you are one of the select few gaming channels that really convinced me that I might enjoy content creation as well. I feel like growing up I only played games for enjoyment and happiness and then as I started reading/watching reviews growing up the hobby started to seem so negative in the way we view things. Your channel was such a breathe of fresh air and once quarantine hit I definitely started feeling the downs of being stuck indoors. I tried channeling my free time and energy into making videos and like you said it's damn hard and you really gotta put those hours in for B-roll and editing. The one upside is I really enjoy the process. I think my biggest fear is being in front of the camera, and I'm hoping that one day I can be as comfortable in front of the camera in my videos as you are in yours. A true legend, and a legitimate representative of the time before gaming and anime were mainstream. Shamefully, I used to hide my love for videogames and comic books in high school. And the coolest friends I knew, I kept at an arms distance because I didn't want to be labeled. But I always knew that people like Johnny were the real "cool guys" who didn't give an F if you thought they were cool. Respect due to Johnny Millennium, a true OG.

Your video was brand new, and **absolutely** convinced me to get one. I kept watching your videos throughout the night, and I was enjoying the wealth of knowledge and positivity so much despite my illness. I genuinely think you were the first channel I ever subscribed to on RUclips, back in 2011. It was with my old account whose login details have since been lost to time, but I’m certain it was your channel. You’ve introduced me to so many games and game series over the years that I’d never heard of before, and your positivity about them has been infectious. Well, save for Dynamite Dux… but even that has a funny story to tell! You’ve also introduced me to other RUclipsrs I’ve been subscribed to for a LONG time as well such as Gamester81 or lukemorse1, and when I found out you were doing a podcast with my other longest-time subscription The EMU Review - now called TheHeineHouse - I totally flipped out. All Gen Gamers, and your RUclips channels really inspired me to collect and keep safe my retro game systems and gave me insight and info about SO MANY games I probably never would’ve known about otherwise. It's crazy to think how long it's been. I remember the early days when retro content creators on RUclips were few and far between, and there was a heavy "community" focus among each of the viewers and the creators. The first video I remember watching on this channel was the first Dreamcast retrospective video you did, which I think Rob was included in. That brings back a lot of memories, and also makes me think about how much my life has changed from back when I saw that video to now.

I’ve been watching for 11 of them! My first video was your Video Game Memories Episode 3 “The Dreamcast ROCKS!”
Not to make you feel old, but I grew up watching you. It was January, I was 15 years old (now 27) and I had been sick all night, so I was just looking up info about the Dreamcast late at night; partly because I was awake and trying to distract myself from being sick, but also because I had been interested in getting a Dreamcast lately after seeing one at the local game shop.
Your video was brand new, and **absolutely** convinced me to get one.
I kept watching your videos throughout the night, and I was enjoying the wealth of knowledge and positivity so much despite my illness. I genuinely think you were the first channel I ever subscribed to on RUclips, back in 2011. It was with my old account whose login details have since been lost to time, but I’m certain it was your channel.
You’ve introduced me to so many games and game series over the years that I’d never heard of before, and your positivity about them has been infectious.
Well, save for Dynamite Dux… but even that has a funny story to tell!
You’ve also introduced me to other RUclipsrs I’ve been subscribed to for a LONG time as well such as Gamester81 or lukemorse1, and when I found out you were doing a podcast with my other longest-time subscription The EMU Review - now called TheHeineHouse - I totally flipped out.
All Gen Gamers, and your RUclips channels really inspired me to collect and keep safe my retro game systems and gave me insight and info about SO MANY games I probably never would’ve known about otherwise. I’m pretty sure you specifically Johnny are the reason I own SEGA consoles.
Watching your channel grow for the last 11 years has been an incredible joy for me. Your videos have brought and continue to bring me comfort, laughs and light in some really damn dark and difficult times in my life, which I sincerely appreciate.
In particular, your Christmas videos with Rob are something I genuinely look forward to each year. Your friendship is so genuine and reminds me of my brother and I.

Johnny your passion and view on video games, art, and making your movie, The first thing I liked on RUclips was your movie that you made with your friends. It's awesome to see how far the show has come. Christmas doesn't feel whole unless I watch you and Rob open each other gifts. It's just so nice to see how much your relationship has grown. This channel is more about your life and people are invested won't ever leave until death do us part. Keep up the great work and keep showing us other things you enjoy in life too.
It's crazy to think how long it's been. I remember the early days when retro content creators on RUclips were few and far between, and there was a heavy "community" focus among each of the viewers and the creators. Now as you mentioned, there are too many to name. It was a very different time back then.

All I can is thanks for doing this. You were a huge inspiration for me finally starting my own channel! Not because ours are similar in anyway (they really aren't!) but it always really got to me how you just followed your own passions and did things for your own enjoyment rather than chasing the crowd. It honestly gave me a lot of courage to dive into doing the things I wanted to do without giving a damn.
