So, Emile’s victory was due largely in part to killing Paper Toad. I can hear how pleased Emile was, but I can only imagine how big the smile on his face was. It’d probably be even bigger if he was able to see Poppo as Paper Toad during the game.
I just realized what you said. OMFG!
if you have played oj you would know the horrors of popo so jon choosing her for paper toad is perfect.
Emile beat his inner demons. What a great step in his character arc.
Arc*
"HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE IN LAST PLACE, STICKER STAR!?"
I think it's known for a while, now.
Emile winning this game was very fitting. Also, Tim with Taking It Seriously on Jon was hilarious. This entire board was hilarious.
I swear, Tim only picks the best moments to use Accelerator, and when he does, he runs _roughshod_ over Jon.
Jon: How do you pronounce Poppo’s name? Is it “Pah-poh” or “Poh-poh”?
Marie Poppo: (Literally says her name every time she speaks)
Also 4:36 That’s not a map-dependant thing: It’s based on I believe how many Poppos with accessories (last I remember it had to he specific accessories) that are currently playing, with more being a higher chance. I want to say you need at least one person as the special Poppo for Big Poppo to show up.
Yeah, Big Poppo appears with a 25% chance for each player (cumulative) playing as one of Poppo's special colors: Rad, Dapper, Cyborg, Tuxedo, Star Devourer, or the new Idol, so if all 4 players are using one of those, it's guaranteed to show up
Poppo pronounces it many different ways. Also, she didn't name herself, Tomomo did.
4:40 to clarify for people who don't play OJ regularly.
Starting with a base 25%, if there is a Marie Poppo wearing one of 6 specific costumes on the field, REGARDLESS of map, you will fight Big Poppo instead of the stage boss. The odds increase with more Poppos, up to 100% with an All Poppo Royale. There are specific achievments/cosmetics tied to beating Boss Poppo while playing as Poppo.
Note though, it has to be Non-CoOp Big Poppo to count. You can't cheese the achievments by fighting Star Devourer or RoPoChi
And to clarify further, the Poppo have to be wearing the certain event costumes, which the AI will never generate wearing as far as I know.
In other words, the last OJ episode could be a 4 poppo match, to fight against the biggest poppo of them all and each other.
@@Rogeryoo as cool as that would be, I doubt they'll do it
@@Rogeryoo i dont think thats happening as finale part 1 has come out and i was hoping for them to do the base game event they got triggered near the start of the series.
basically, there's a character and several things you can unlock from doing it
Poppo keeps walking onto those "talk shit get hit" spaces, and it's like watching Sideshow Bob in that field of rakes.
"I hate this."
Jon, YOU KNOW you brought this upon yourself. On so many levels this time.
I feel like Emile finished his vendetta against Sticker Star Paper Toad through this match in one go.
Emile's rage against Sticker Star is one of those constant things in the universe alongside Jon's bad luck in games with Emile.
I love Tim, he forgets stuff when a lot happens but when he goes in...lol. I'm also laughing emile won by killing Toad.
That Emile luck. and that Sticker Star rage. I love it.
OMG Emile getting angry over Sticker Star was way funnier than it should have been. LOL
Tim star gazing.
The board killed Chugga
And death.
*Toad-al* domination by Chugga.
Also, I love how epic it got at 9:08
Emile launches into the stratosphere.
Would never have noticed that without this comment. Thank you.
2:47 I think part of Jon getting mad at his shit luck is that he doesn’t acknowledge when he is real lucky. He just rolled double sixes and didn’t say a word!
4:29 Correction: Big Poppo can spawn on any map. It's odds are determined by 25% * x, where x is the number of Marie Poppo's running certain event outfits in your lobby. I'm pretty sure they didn't have any chance of getting big Poppo this game.
Side Note: The character herself pronounces it POE-POE, instead of POP-OH, so that's prolly how it's pronounced
Emile deserves the win, just because of the damn toad being annoying 🤣🤣🤣
I've watched this channel since it started and I'm still constantly mystified by the sheer power of Emile's luck. Incredible.

Be an Origami King at least, your the best of the "new trilogy".
Darn, I was hoping to see at least one 50 star Ubiquitous play. It would have driven Jon crazy if the AI nabbed 50 stars from him and THAT was what let Emile win.
Alternatively, if Paper Toad stole the win from Emile, it would've been 10 times funnier.
And the Chugga v. StickerStar saga writes another chapter.
7:07
It's funny that Toad was made of paper, so Chugga could TEAR into it.
It's funny that Toad was made of paper, so Monado Scissors would be extra effective.
It's funny that Toad was made of paper, because Chugga used Cut.
It's funny that Toad was made of paper, because of the way it FOLDED to Chugga's attack.
...
Rip Paper Toad
Jon may be a bit frustrated, but is still happy Toad is in last to help up Emile.
i would love a mod that turns PoPo into a Souflee since that’s what she is essentially
I hoping Tim would snag the victory but Emile winning over Toad makes sense. Poor Jon.
Fun game, Toad is not to be messed with as an opponent, they did pretty good for themselves all things considered, but not well enough to stop Emile's ungodly rage against anything that dares ruin what he loves.
Sticker Star makes Emile go Super Saiyan.
For those wondering "when are they done with 100%OJ", you can watch ProtonJon's Fortune Cookie recorded December 4th, 2021. From his first game played on OJ, he is Level 29 and needs about 200 XP to the next level. This episode, he is Level 29 and needs 2045 to the next level. Given the amount of XP you earn per game, it looks like there's at least 3, at most 5 games left of OJ left.
I hope I helped give everyone an idea about when to expect something new
is it weird that I'm going to miss OJ
@@luigismanbun3978 Not at all! It is your personal tastes, after all
You know I get the feeling Emile doesn't like Sticker Star.
9:13 I think we just heard Emile’s Max Nut
NGL, I've always felt Tim kinda doesn't play the best he can? I don't think he's bad at games it just feels like he's not really trying very hard most of the time ig
This vid feels like proof of that, he plays, for the most part, really well but it feels like other times he's not entirely there?
2:32
That "Pokkyaa!" absolutely sounded like something else to me for a second.
Not many drop spaces this time around, since they're a lot easier to avoid on this map. There was Unlucky Charm, but even that didn't do much there. The star loss by Unlucky Charm is including the usage cost that sends it to someone else.
Tim only landed on a drop panel once, losing 2 stars + 2 stars lost by Unlucky Charm. He got away with using Unlucky Charm for free due to his low star count at the time.
Jon landed on drop panels twice, losing 13 stars total
The AI only landed on a drop panel once, losing 3 stars + 7 stars lost by Unlucky Charm
Emile landed on drop panels 4 times, losing 35 stars total + 9 stars lost by Unlucky Charm. He should've actually lost 1 star more on drop panels, but well... You can't drop what you don't have.
Two Drop rolls were ones. Once by Emile, and the other one is the sole drop roll from the AI. No sixes, surprisingly.
And finally, 82 stars were lost to the boss because Jon got killed by it. 73 stars were lost to the roboball because Poppo got killed by it, then the boss showed up. (Only counting losses from NPC enemies left undefeated.)
No Ubiquitous this entire game. I am disappoint. Also, yes, I was rooting for Poppo, because I'll instinctively root for someone not being a murderhobo. Aru is my spirit animal for a reason.
They did use it, only once
HOORAY FOR EMILE!!!
HOW’S IT FEEL, YOU GENERIC, OVERGLORIFIED FUNGUS BRAIN?!
9:11 - 9:17 Emile sounds like he's being wrap into the void
Someone should draw fanart of these 3 running after Toad who has a bunch of stars
I do actually enjoy the marie popo toad a lot
You don't talk about Sticker Star in front of Emile, unless you like getting him angry.
7:07 emile's revenge
So since chuggaa beat the map and SS Toad is in last thanks to him, I should tell you that this year Sticker Star will turn 10 on November
10:54 Hey, it's like when in at the end of one of the early Mario Party Minigame Coasters, telling Jon to pretend the boss was Chugga helped _him_ win.
When it’s not the power of luck, it’s the power of Sticker Star hatred that helps Emile win!
8:02 I see someone's salty ;)
9:26 You got owned, son ;)
10:34 Fittingly Emile won the board where they had the Toad mod on from Sticker Star.
I am disappointed Poppo did not use Ubiquitous at the end
I've had Jon's character music stuck in my head the last couple of days. It's very catchy, a bit _too_ catchy in my opinion.
The unbelievable luck of 100% OJ.
Jon, what the hell was that noise at 10:30? Did you slam your desk or hit you microphone?
I wonder how well they will get screwed over if they played fortune street again. And Jon’s luck is just as bad as %99.9 the rest of the other times
1:28 "Dont sleep on Tim"... but what if ure a dog or cat????
Marie Poppo certainly doesn't start fights.... but she can certainly FINISH them.
Who will fold first?
Emile due to his hatred of the sticker star game
9:14 Did they add a reverb effect to Emile?
i wonder if jon will use casual tomomo or maybe we will see a chuggajonroy mod for the cuties
Big Poppo is EVERY map with a 25% chance per Poppo playing.
Please more AI player 4 mods. This was glorious!
Early
The sounds that the COM makes are adorable
10:27 The sheer amount of disgust in Jon's voice...
Jon, it's time to switch!
So when do we get that essay about Sticker Star that Emile's been talking about?
7:19 Emile, did u say suck it????
3:12 I'm a die. Thank you forever.
Now I'm wondering if all of you are going to get revenge on Big the Jonathan soon.
SPOILERS
Looks like Emile conqured his Sticker Star demons after all.
This is a odd spoiler because of what it can mean.
If only that meant he would shut up about it and just move the frick on.
@@TheIvoryDingo He won't and would probably end up playing OK blind for us.
@@yokai59loi36 He has already tried Origami King on his own time and played up to the end of the second streamer before stopping due to various issues he had with the game.
And as far as I am aware, Chuggaa does not think that either Origami King or Color Splash are even close to as bad as Sticker Star, but still far from what he liked in the series pre-Sticker Star.
@@TheIvoryDingo If he does do the rest on his channel, it would be cool though.
10:59 Ok. Now how about out of six?
Emile vs Sticker Star
Flawless victory
Shred-ality
Personally, I find the Paper Mario fanbase to be terrible nowadays. It's not as bad as Pokemon or Smash Bros, but it can be a bit too much.
Eh, debatable. When it comes to Pokemon's early installment purists, usually called "Genwunners", they are generally ridiculed to the Distortion World and back by the the rest of the fanbase due to how hypocritical most of their arguments are. There's nothing keeping the Paper Mario equivalent in check, which is funny (read: aggravating) to me because many of their own arguments come straight out of the Genwunner handbook. Even the bit Emile was saying here about "funny about being made out of paper" doesn't hold up with all the jokes they made in the first two games about how the world is made of paper. In fact, if I was in that call, I would have shouted "BIG MIGHTY KING OF GUYS WHO TALK TO POSTERS!" at that point.
@@SuperGoker64 I feel you're suffering a major disconnect from both Paper Mario and Pokemon.
Pokemon arguments are about cutting corners these days being a valid complaint or not.
Paper Mario is about the overreliance on paper jokes compared to old entries which had more variety in jokes.
@@Buglin_Burger7878 I am well aware of both, believe me. My point is to compare the factions of both fanbases that like only the oldest entries and nothing else (arguably the most toxic parts of both fanbases), and how they are treated by their respective fanbases as a whole.
With Pokemon, Genwunners treated as a semi-vocal minority that does not represent the fanbase as a whole. At least those who complain about Dexit, SwSh's tree textures or the glitches in BDSP haven't been disrespectful to those that do like those games, at least from what I've seen.
For Paper Mario, it's split up the fanbase in two between those who hate everything that came after SPM (or sometimes even after TTYD) and those who like the newer games, with the latter usually being drowned out by the former. I've actually talked to many that hate SS onward in the nine years since it's came out, and believe me, I'd consider very few of those conversations to be fruitful. I've only ever seen _one_ such person willing to admit that their side has a problem. Usually I get things like "oh, you just don't understand Paper Mario, bro" (even though I myself am an older fan), or attempts to gaslight me into thinking they aren't toxic and that it's the newer fans that are. My favorite, though, is when someone chimed in _two whole years_ after a conversation was done and dusted, misinterpreted what I said about thinking the series as a whole is funny to think that I find literally everything about the series to be funny, _up to and including Bobbery's backstory,_ and called me a terrible person for it.
Now, could the Pokemon fanbase as a whole be worse? It's possible. I don't have all the information, hence why I said that it's debatable. From my experience, however, I've seen more toxicity come out of Paper Mario's current fanbase than Pokemon's.
@@SuperGoker64 Actually, I kinda agree with you on the PM fanbase. Granted I like TTYD and Super the best, but I'm not against IntSys experimenting with stuff in the series, I just wish they would give these experiments more time in the oven. The paper jokes don't bother me much at all, and I like that later games have used some underutilized enemies and characters in the series.
@@SuperGoker64 I feel like it's been a bigger trend in Pokemon anyway ever since gen 4 for DP lovers ownward to be more entitled even when they got a lot during their gen. Doesnt really help over 10 years louder gen 4 lovers in youtube tended to complain X game is bad only because their pokemon isnt in it, so BDSP did give me schaudenfruade for like a day with how too faithful of a remake it was. Do agree we who love gen 1 were really bad when Hoenn was first out and lost a lot of our mons though though I'd like to think it's not as bad. We're just a punching bag these days for mad people which is why i avoid the fanbase lol.
Jon lost and he used Rosa. Chugga got first and "Toad" got last. The toad isn't even sticker star designed. It's Color Splash or Origami King designed.
Edit: Yes, I am actually smiling and crying because Sticker Star is my second favorite of the worst trilogy (I have only played the worst trilogy) Yet I am on the Chugga side of the Seesaw. Not the neutral or opposing side.
Why is it that every time Tim is in win range he's only level 3?
6:14 what the actual fuck
It kinda frustrating to watch Tim sometimes I want everyone to do well sometimes Tim does mistakes that sink that could have avoided. It least he is in good spirits.
Tim is the one I tend to support as well, especially since I'm beyond fed up with Jon's complaining (okay, his luck is bad, but so is everyone else's because OJ and he constantly ignores all the times games have handed things to him on a plate), and Emile's forced puns and innuendoes grate after a while. Tim cops a lot of misfortune with good grace and is there for fun, which makes it easier to support him.
What's really funny is that the made-of-paper jokes are actually funny and this level of vitriol is so rare from Chuggaa that it's genuinely just not pleasant to experience.
rare? you must not be familiar with Emile and Sticker Star
@@luigismanbun3978 Oh I'm well familiar, I was saying "rare" in the overall sense. I'm well aware he despises the game with all the white hot intensity of someone who is taking out life's frustrations on the curb he tripped over.
I'm just saying in general he has the anger quotant of a mildly drowsy shrew.
Oh never say Paper Mario Sticker Star because that your next let's play hope you got a good voice for all the Toads Chuggaaconroy good luck your going to need it. Yeah Proton Jon go the new character you stream on 100% Orange Juice.
Hearing Emile rant about Sticker Star during this board has made me think about the references to paper in the Paper Mario series, and how it used to be mostly an aesthetic choice with minor appearances of actual paper (like the Black Chest Demons in TTYD) before it devolved into... whatever the hell the writers came up with after Super. So my mind started to wander, and before I knew it, I came up with a pretty wacky headcanon for the series:
Mario's paper curses from TTYD seemed pretty harmless for the hero, but after he beat the Shadow Queen and returned to the Mushroom Kingdom, he started to travel around the world, and unbeknownst to him, his curses began to spread to people and places around him. By the time he realized what was happening, the whole world had turned to paper, and nobody was able to find a way to reverse the effects. All the denizens of the Paper Mario world could do was to move on with their lives and adapt to their new reality, since they couldn't go back to the way things were before.
Yeah, I know. I think of the weirdest things.
The thing that really annoys me is how quickly people SPOIL who wins honestly at this point. It is actually starting to get on my nerves because it kinda ruins the enjoyment of the video as a result.

Tim 4 120 5356 135 16 4 4th (Least Victories)
And in yet another nail-biter of a race to the finish, Emile emerges triumphant once again in this game of chaos, taking extra pride in total domination over the A.I. masquerading as his deepest trigger. Jon fought tooth & nail to narrow the gap between himself and 1st Place, but the gap only grew even wider today. Tim also fought with everything he had towards tieing with the A.I. in overall Victories but was unable to take today's victory. And the A.I. was utterly crushed by The Runaway Guys in this board, Emile relishing the last blow, yet still maintains one Victory over Tim.
How will the standings shift as this battle rages on? Is Emile too far gone for anyone to catch back up? Did Jon serve a Project Victory to Emile on a silver platter by presenting a game of trollish chance? Will the A.I. be able to hold off Tim for the remainder of the project?
