Kevin wasn't the only brother who had his own family, Kerry also got married and had 2 daughters who are both still alive, David also married and had a daughter but she died at 13 weeks. But since the movie was mainly about Kevin, they ignored the other brothers families.
The story and film were just heart breaking. A story of growing up with a strict very hard father. As a fan of Texas Tornado growing up I was highly interested in seeing this film and how the family was going to be portrayed. Very good film overall. A tearjerker for sure.
The Iron Claw takes place during the era of World Class Championship Wrestling. This was the territory of Fritz Von Erich and his sons. This was the era of Harley Race, Ric Flair, The Great Kabuki, Bruiser Brody, Kamala, The Missing Link and The Fabulous Freebirds. Rest in Peace Texas Tornado.
If you feel numb at the iron claw I don’t know if you’d make it through the zone of interest, nothing against the iron claw bc that movie made me cry like a baby but the zone of interest is just on another level when it comes to despair and feeling haunted
I thought the actor was cool but he did lack that manic Ric Flair energy. They had him act too cinematically, too seriously. They should have just told him to overact.
I haven't stop thinking about this for over a week and has become obsessed with this movie and story
I was hoping you guys covered this one. An overlooked favorite of 2023. 😊 nice review
Matthew Libatique also shot the cinematic masterpiece that is Iron Man 2 which lowkey is one of the most well shot MCU movies
Man how did this film not get a single nom🥺
CRIMINAL!!!!!
They didn't get it submitted to the academy in time for award Season

The scene where the brothers reunite in the afterlife had me in tears😢

kevin was not the only one with family. in the movie they didn’t have time to focus on each brother. kevin was just the main character in this movie
also kerry didn’t lose his foot in the accident he actually lost it because he was already wrestling before he let it heal properly
fritz is a bad man that used his kids as a meal ticket for his business
Great episode. So shocking to learn the (even more tragic) reality behind the drama
Thank you for reviewing this film, it was so moving and so tragic that it actually happened. I cried too.

Kevin was just being kind to his dad, Fritz was actually far worse in real life. He was selling headshots of David at his funeral
of courseeeeee i’ve seen the pulp fiction episode. one of my favorites as well!!!!

I love this film, but as a wrestling fan i hate the portrsylal of ric flair. Only bad point
They made him too handsome😂😂😂.

When he was cutting the promo he was awful. I thought he was fine in the locker room after the match.
dudes...harley race threw kevin out of the ring not brusier. I dont think bruiser had a 1-1 match with kevin.
