Grateful to see diversity in the models, I am happy for this collection is so avant-garde, everything is new, a lot of proposals, I am a little tired of collections that copy fashion from the past, they are like remakes of the 80s, 90s, 2000s, is enough, we want new things, And Balmain knows it, thanks Balmain💖🤗❤💯

he always shows diversity...but the clothes are wearing the models...
Why this made me cry? All of this beautiful diversity and inclusion on the runway has been long over due. All of the beautiful colors and textures of the clothes and the bodies bringing them to life! I loved every moment of this show. Then the Beyonce/ Naomi moment.... loved it! I feel inspired.
What diversity? I didn't see a single person on that runway that looks like me. All the "white" models are of northern/eastern European stock, Southern Europeans with olive skin & brown eyes are perpetually excluded. This so-called diversity includes all the shades of black and skips right to the whitest shade of white
Okay. I have a thought about diversity. When you look at the 80s, diversity was up and coming on the runways, just look at shows by Lagerfeld, YSL and Issey Miyake. The wave of supermodels in the late 80s and early 90s actually put a stop on this diversity because there seemed to be only room for one colored model, Naomi Campbell. It certainly is not her fault but I think she was part of why the runways were lacking of diversity for the next 20+ years.
Naomi is twice as old as most of these newcomers, and looks twice as better! Queen Naomi 4ever!

@@kazuma8630 you sound silly. Olivier had one of the biggest red carpet moments of this year with Zendaya and her leather draped dress. Created by the House of Balmain. Not to mention all of the HISTORY that was mentioned in this shows narration. Scram.
@Shenita Peterson what has this dress to do with the show? And why do you make history when you mention it in your narration? Or was the sentence "You have made history" not based on this show alone, but his whole work?

Honestly I'm super disappointed this year. Balmain is the one I look forward to most. I dont get it. No color, Unrealistic structure, giant jackets for spring, uncomfortable looking af, and WHAT ARE THOSE!!!! THE SHOES... noooooo. I can already see the youtube videos coming out talking about how they made the balmain dress with a hot glue gun. And YES I think I can do better. With a budget like that how can you fail so hard. (Models did amazing btw)

I felt bad for the nip slip near the beginning. It was an interesting collection.
I very much so enjoyed the show afro Americans models and models of all ages, and of all shapes and sizes all fashion shows should be like this one I love fashion show more afro American models and models of all ages and of all sizes and maybe all heights I love that this is what America looks like a great show and a great designer love the clothes and style. bring more diversity to fashion shows like this makes me feel there is hope and a future for me in modeling thank you balman designer thank you so much this show gives me hope that there's a future for me in the modeling industry, I'm hoping more and more designers become like you in there shows that bring older and all sizes and rights to their shows too great fashion show hope to see more like this thank you be well.

I just don't where he is going, anymore. Many of the comments are about the diversity of the models and not much else. What is that saying about his POV, direction, esthetic, narrative, etc? Is this just fashion for fashion sake, another season of what? There is just something amiss and has been for a long time.
