He sadly never looked quite right in 2023 which was disappointing to see when he was looking at his first true bell cow season, but this is the guy I remember from 2022 that got me so excited about seeing him as RB1 fulltime. With Brissett being the type of QB that's just gonna keep things afloat rather than win you a game having the sort of dynamic RB play of Stevenson is gonna be key towards whether or not the Pats can keep on winning(and justify keeping Drake Maye on the sidelines which seems to be the coaching staff's preference).

As a Falcons fan and with all the discourse on X this week I was surprised you didn’t say anything about Kirk Cousins potentially playing hurt though I do understand since you have been very busy. From what myself and others saw, Kirk did not drive much from his right plant leg where he tore his achilles and was taking very shallow dropbacks. He also had an even footed stance pre-snap when he previously had his left foot forward pre-snap before his injury. The Falcons playcalling seemed to reflect that they don’t fully trust his achilles as they ran 0 play-action plays and lined up in Pistol or Shotgun for almost the whole game. Kirk only took a snap under center twice the entire game for an end around and a spike. I hope I and some other Falcons fans are wrong but I think Kirk is playing hurt and is going to continue to be extremely limited and play poorly in the next few games to the point where we see Penix in the near-future.
