The last time I did this Origami was 2019 (I think) and I thought that it was so difficult, but somehow managable. Today, Novembre 2022 I am thinking that its rather OK-ish difficult, only the wings at the end took some effort. Its funny to me how much experience I got over the years, especially folding a lot complex origamis presented on this channel. Thank you Jo Nakashima!

I believe this is your best design yet and I admire your ability to create this complex model. I'll watch a few more times before attempting. The open sinks of the claws and developing the eye and horn look challenging. I love the second row of tail spikes. Thanks Jo, it's a great dragon.

Your work is impressive and must entail profuse intelligence, expertise, and experience. I’m certainly demonstrating this on my channel. :D

My folding skills were challenged by this model. Your paper choice is going to make a big difference in the outcome. Unless you have child size fingers, go with the 40 cm as suggested. Also use a strong paper such as the spangled tissue foil used in the tutorial. I used a standard kami (Aitoh 9.75in) on my first attempt and I failed at the first tiny open sinks of the claws. Even using a tooth pick I overworked the standard paper an the sinks ripped. Next attempt I used my largest paper (30cm spangled tissue foil) still using a tooth pick on the now slightly larger open sinks and eyes and was able to complete the origami but with difficulty. For me, the open sinks of the claws and shaping the eyes were the crux steps. I was also challenged getting the lower tail spikes folded. My finished 30 cm devil dragon certainly isn't as pretty or precise as Jo's but was good practice. Next attempt will be with larger paper and less frustration. This is a wonderfully designed origami and I'm aiming to get it perfect.

20x20cm will definatly work BTW (A4 Printer paper) Since this dragon is different then any other dragon, because the layers are nice and thin, which is easy to work with. Not like the fiery dragon etc...
20x20 cm is also still large enough at the same time.
