Really useful review - thanks, and the first one I’ve seen or read that describes the Wire and Shot having such a difference in shape at the toebox; something which is incredibly useful to know. Agree with your comments about the Sixty - really comfy shoe, but with so little control at the heel (for my feet at least).
Many thanks for your reviews. According to them I bought Sidi Wire 2 and Sidi Tiger 2. Both great shoes. My feet are a bit problematic due to their dimensions. 😅 Sidi forever. 💪🏼
Super helpful. I have a good fit with my wire2s, may size down 1/2 if I try the shot2. FYI you can change out the closure hardware from white to black if you want; not too hard to do.
So interesting video. Just one doubt. My feet are 26.5 cm and I don't know if my size is 42 (for 26.5 cm) or 43 (for 27 cm). You are going to be so helpful. Thank you so much!
If heel is ‘flopping around’ in Sixty perhaps try sizing down before dismissing. I’ve a slender ankle/heel and would usually go for a 46 in trainers but 45.5 in a Sidi Sixty is great, no heel lift even in full racing conditions. Great shoe.
Every road bike I have owned had dropped stays… Scott CR1, Addict team issue, 2 Allez sprint, system six, ostro. They are supposedly help with compliance and offer aero benefit. I guess my madone 9 does not but it has that iso speed thing for comfort.
Would you say that Shot 2 should be half size smaller than the Wire 2? I have noticed that the extra volume in the Shot 2 compared to the Wire 2 makes you extra tight the Tecno to avoid your heel from sliding in the back, thus having a lot of pressure in the instep... can you shed some light in that regard from your own experience? Thanks!
The shot 2 should remain the same size. The top techno on the shot 2 does not secure the instep the same as the wire 2. The wire 2 instep strap is very high compared to the shot 2. I have no issues myself but if my instep was any lower I could see more heel lift.
I have pain in my toes when I ride, I’ve had a bike fitting and the problem does not go away, the only shoe I owned that never gave me a problem was the Louis Garneau with a carbon sole, could carbon sole be the difference?
Don’t think carbon sole is the fix. Might be the shape of that shoe. Take a look at solestar insoles. We’re 70% of what made my feet happy. The other 30% was the shoe. Solestar Kontrol version. I have a Courtesy discount code : addictcyclist20off
Nice review. I have the sidi shot 2 in black. I love them. Keep up the great work. 👍🏻🇨🇦

Nice! Shot 2 and Tiger 2 are my loves

Wire 2 seem to run more narrow and shorter in length than shot 2 in same size.

Thanks for feedback! I have a low instep which does not help. I am all in on shot 2 and tiger 2! ❤️
Curious to see what your thoughts are on bikes with drop seat stays and ones without

Jabba cat approved 🤘
The weight, Can you really feel that they heavy?
Not at all. Plus being the stiffest shoe I ever wore, ❤️
another video of automatic pedals bike shoes without showing the ratchet loose/tight system. incomplete review. -_-
