Hi....I have a wide foot, which is on the side of the foot, not the toes. I was looking at Lake, but a video recommended Sidi shoes. Apparently you have a mega size for wide feet. Which shoe would you recommend? Another person suggested to me the genius 10 mega......
No mention of the materials used in the construction of the shoes, other than carbon bottoms, but there are plenty of pretty adjectives lol, like the freaking velcro needs to be played up...
Thanks for your review! In terms of comfort and stiffness is there a real difference between the Sixty and the new Shot 2? Do you recommend those models for a non-competitive cycling?
Hi Anna. The Shot 2 sole is marginally stiffer and lighter, and comes with venting in the sole too. That's not to say the Sixty isn't stiff, but venting may be a consideration on hot days. It is very common for non-competitive cyclists to use carbon soles. The UK media are a big fan of the Wire 2 for a good mix of performance and comfort. As a women, perhaps you'd be interested to know that there is a Wire 2 Women's shoe also.
Yes, absolutely! It has the Carbon Composite 20 sole that is nylon injected with carbon fibre, which results in a light and stiff sole. Some people actually prefer a composite sole rather than full carbon, especially for longer rides, as shoes that are extremely stiff can be tiresome over long distances.
@@adamzahari815 Other than the heel adjustment and heel cup, the soles are the main difference. The Wire 2 has a full carbon sole (not composite), which also benefits from venting underneath. Hence the Wire 2 is slightly more expensive, but also why it is the choice of many Giro and TDF riders.
Hi! If you cut to 1:35 you will see the Genius 10 being opened. Basically, you pinch the buttons on the side and your foot will push the tongue and closure system out of the way. I hope this helps.
Can’t beat the ergo 1 absolutely the best system 😊
Ergo 2 is beter
Excellent and professional video. Well done.

We recommend finding a local dealer and trying them on. Please note that Sidi half sizes are the same length shoe just wider. We hope this helps.

@@SaddlebackCycling Many thanks for your comment! I'll have a look at the Wire 2.
Any shoes for wide feet?
Hi. Is Sidi Genius a good shoe performance-wise?

@@SaddlebackCycling One more, is there any difference between the Genius 10 and Wire 2 other than the adjustable heels? Thanks for the great info btw!

@@SaddlebackCycling Thank you again! Appreciate it

We certainly think so! We're a big fan of the clean minimalist looks too. Media reviews have been very positive in the UK as well.
Is the ergo 5 good for racing?
Yes of course, and it is a very confortable shoe, thats the one I prefer for its confort
Still dreaming having an sidi MTB cleats shoes but I cant afford one. Is so expensive here in Phillipines and I have 3 kids to prio.😓😓😓
That orange is nice.
It sure is! 🤩
Are all of these shoes made in Italy?
Hi there. All of Sidi's high-end shoes, like the Shot 2 and the Wire 2, are made in Italy, yes. Some of their entry-level shoes may be made elsewhere.
why all reviewers show how to tighten but never how to loosen. it's really annoying! -_-
