Hi guys. Saw your comment on the Friday live with Jason and Bob and found you and subscribed to swell your numbers! Well it’s a start. Lovely looking van you guys have there and Mollie looks a star ( Although we have a lab, our family is border collie mad).
What was the deciding factor in you choosing a van rather than a Motorhome. We are retired silvertops who have been MH for about 18 months. Really love it. Mix between wild and sites.
Enjoyed your first video and look forward to your new videos as they are published. All the best from Mal and Dave in Stoke

Thank you so much 🥰 We really appreciate you subscribing, it seems such a long way to go to get subscribers like Bob and Jason but every click counts so thank you for being one of the first 😁
We decided mainly on a van conversion for space saving where we keep it, a coach built would just about fit but would be very tight and also we plan to visit some remote places so size was really important but without compromising too much hence the pop-top.
We have lots more content coming, Mollie seems to like travelling as much as us - we bet your dog does too 🐶
Thanks for taking the time to comment too, you made our day - Iain, Caroline and Mollie 👏😁

Love the van it’s a beauty. I also love the way you put this video together and the story it tells. Story telling is a great skill and helps to keep videos engaging.

😂 Thanks very much - no idea why she did that, she isn't allowed on the chairs at home and hasn't done it since in the campervan so we put it down to collection day excitement 😁👍🐶😂

That was perhaps the most expensive reason for a glass or 2 of Champagne ever!! .... unless you had Champagne when you moved in to your house.
Looking forward to your adventures in 2022 (less the Champagne!)

Great videos folks have just found your channel/ we are sold on the Expeditions but with just us two we are torn between the 66 and the 67,help!! PS we have subscribed too!

Thank you and welcome to our channel 🥰 That's a very tough choice, both are great vans but the key thing to look for is does the layout work for you. We tried to think of how we would use our van, the times of year etc and what is most important to us. For example this weekend we were away and it rained non stop but having the rear lounge meant we had lots of room to relax and stay inside (not normal for us 😂) so it depends on your use. If you can try sitting in both, the NEC is a great place to see lots of vans and try different layouts too - good luck with your selection and we would love to know what you decide on 😁👍

brilliant choice of van, love the layout, thats why we chose the CV40, i think (hope) it will work for us, only time will tell :-) TBH we only really considered the CV range as they are more/where "affordable" Love having the front dinette area and the rear lounge area.

Thank you, sure you will love it too 🥰 The layout is so important for getting the most use out of the van, the CV40 was on our final shortlist, it looks a great van 😁👍

Hi Guys, I've subscribed to your videos because you're entertaining but it helps that you've gone for the very van we have our eyes on :-). Two questions, please: Did you consider the shorter 5.99m Adventure 55 (easier to drive/park?), and did you look at me-toos like the Elddis CV80? Cheers, Tom

    • @VantasticAdventures
      @VantasticAdventures  3 года назад

Hello Tom, welcome to the channel and thank you for your kind words and subscribing! It's very much appreciated 🥰
We did indeed consider the 55, in fact that was the van we were going to buy until we sat in both side by side at the NEC show in Birmingham. The extra length in the rear lounge helped make the decision as it makes the space more usable if you spend time inside and we planned to use the van all year round. Also gives additional space for the bed if you are tall as you can sleep diagonally. The 55 is great too though and as you say easier to park and cheaper for ferries etc. The 65 fits in most bays if you can overhang the back on a grass verge or similar - there is a dedicated owners group for the Adventure model on Facebook worth joining as the owners are all friendly and went through a similar thought process to you 👍
The Elddis wasn't available when we bought ours but we did shortlist the CV40 - it looked good value for money but when I added the extras it wasn't much cheaper than the Adventure and didn't have quite the same spec so we decided on the 65 😁

Hi , I have been watching your channel for a while now and have just realised you are in a Jeep Wrangler in this video . We also have a 2020 Jeep Wrangler rubicon which we both love but we are fed up of towing our caravan . We are at the nec this week looking to purchase a pop top 6.4m similar to yours but the Jeep will have to go 😩. Did you keep the Jeep or did you let it go ? If you did let it go do you regret it in any way as I am really struggling with the thought ? Unfortunately we can’t have both 😔Thanks.

Great spot 😂👍 Yes it was a Wrangler Sahara 4dr in orange which we loved, one of our favourite cars ever but we had to change for work. We would love to have another though again in the future but this time the Rubicon but that's maybe a while off yet, our car use has changed post covid so juggling mileage and costs make it more challenging... We did have to change our car to get the adventure though too like you, it was a 2 seat sports car and was very sad when it went but we use the campervan way more so it was the right decision 😁
