2024 MT-09 | Akrapovic Racing Line Exhaust RAW Audio 2K

Part of this video corrupted so there are a few abrupt cuts/transitions.
New Akrapovic Racing Line installed, tune and a tail tidy :)
***This exhaust is LOUD. Most shorter exhausts that tuck under the bike will be louder!

Your bike is really cool, I have an MT 09 too, but here in Brazil we still have old models, and it takes a long time for bikes to be updated. It's the fault of our corrupt government that charges exorbitant taxes from the population!👍🏻🇧🇷🚀🏍️

Did you get any check engine lights? Is the cruise control still working?

Yeah check engine for 20 miles, I think? and two key cycles? I can’t remember but it actually went away in the very beginning of this vid. I cut it and did a second start. I knew it would clear when I did the second key cycle so I figured why not. Cruise control still works

@mxatoms interesting so basically you have to cycle 2 times off and on to make it go away? Is it with every mt09 or just yours in this case. Sounds like youve known this would happen from a certain forum or thread

Quick question, I rode a 24 mt09 last month and I noticed a strange power dip in 2nd gear... did the tune get rid of that?

Yeah lol I know exactly what you’re talking about and that’s gone. It’s super smooth now through all gears. It’s so good. This bike benefits quite a bit from a tune

are we supposed to manually shift 1st to 2nd? or do you only do that while it's new

I do it because I can be smoother than the quickshifter if I try or have been riding this bike more than my gixxer. With the quickshifter you always feel it kinda skip over neutral. Now that it's tuned it's even smoother when I manual shift correctly
