@@Key_Beard I tried to impression my first key the other day and resulted in the key getting stuck and broken off I think my sides were not sloped enough to say the least and I'm sure I made a few other mistakes lol.
It's such a great feeling making ur own key ,I've casted a few keys and have impresioned a master key as well lol 😆 great work 👍

Awesome video brother!!! You can actually nondestructively gut it. If you rotate the plug so that the bottom of the keyway lines up with the crimp then the core can slide right out but you need a special follower that has a flat spot along it's length.
