I am from GA - and a diehard STEELER FAN !! The talk of the town is how attendance was probably a minimum of 75 percent STEELERS .. and I believe that was a low estimate … STEELERS FANS SHOWED UP IN RECORD NUMBERS .. it was an unbelievable day for sure in Atlanta

I was at the game and can confirm the stadium had to be at least 75% black and gold. You were hard pressed to find any spots with a concentrated amount of falcons fans. 😂

My dad’s actually a Seahawks fan because Franco retired there. My grandmother was friends with Francos mother and called him little Frankie. She always sent us Steelers gear so even though I’ve never lived in Pittsburgh I’m a 3rd generation fan, was an army brat so we never had a home team anyways. Go Steelers.

I repeatedly apologized to everyone around here for being a Braves fan. I stopped once the Pirates finished above .500. But I remember that game. My dad actually told everyone to go to bed as it went into the bottom of the ninth. He was that disgusted with the game. We woke up the next morning to see that a miracle (for Braves fans) had occurred.

As a Georgia boy yet life long Steelers fan I can confirm we always take over the Atlanta games both on the field and in the stands. That was 7 in a row I believe lol ! The stadium was predominantly Black and Gold….. I have been a Steelers since the 70’s. Here we had;the luv blue era with The Tyler Rose rampaging through the NFL and yes we had him running through the black and gold ,but one game he ran into a Safety named Donnie Shell #31 for Pittsburgh Steeler caught him as he was coming out of spin and he nailed in the sternum which caused Earl Campbell to leave the game.
