    Ah yes. The dreaded Nagatanikawa got me, too. But that all-Haru seat plan lmao
    I wonder if you'll do a video about the awful rite of passage where the school refuses to turn on the a/c in summer and the kids con the unsuspecting ALT into doing it or turning on the fan and you become their god. Equally, covering the mutual freezing to death in winter. lol

    This was me but I'd just give people nicknames based on the English translation of the kanji when I didn't know how to read it. They'd be absolutely howling 😅

    A round of applause for even being able to read the kanji. I just ask them to give me the hiragana yet I still spell it wrong. Granted though I have classes with over 36 students and it's hard to memorize all.😭😭😱😱

    WOW... indeed there are some names that have an irregular reading AF if you do not know the reading you can not read it... it also applies to the 90% of fauna and flora words too... and this kind of mobbing is true at schools...

    That’s my weakness when it comes to reading Kanji... I can read it if they’re a word or verb, etc because my brain automatically knows their readings... If it’s a name, I just don’t know where to go from there lol
    Another great video! This gave me another preparation lesson for my self study haha. It’s time to practice those name readings lol.

    • @maydaysan
      @maydaysan  5 лет назад

      For this I assume Kunyomi and possible renraku. Usually you gotta cut pieces out of the kunyomi for the name to make sense (cuz usually it’s a common name)
      That or just you know take a chance LOL
