Thank you for the lessons, I was trying to find something like this, someone explaining while reading in detail.
I live in Japan and I don't have so much time to study, I'm really struggling with the language and I would like to read and read to improve my japanese but I get stuck easily with parts of the text when is difficult to figure out with Jisho.
I can't understand how some people can move fordward so fast with such a complicated language, again thank you for your time and effort!

Thank you for dropping by! If you have a basic understanding of Japanese then I can almost guarantee that by the time you are finished with this series you will be feeling a looot better about your Japanese. Its harder to learn Japanese in Japan than a lot of people think! and just making the effort to learn already makes you better than the majority of foreigners living here. Hang in there!

Thank you for the comment! Im promising every intermediate learner of Japanese that they can finally break through the barrier to advanced Japanese and understand movies, dramas and anime if they read through a couple/three books with me. But even after book 1 I know you will be amazed with your progress! I hope you stick around!

Yo, my dude! I just wanted to say thank you for putting the effort into making this type of content. I’m currently taking college Japanese classes, and I like learning languages, but man that stuff sometimes is extremely tedious and this is so much more fun. You’re helping me take something I would do already and turn it into a learning opportunity. As someone who is taught myself three other languages, I love doing the work, but this makes it so much easier. Your channel is dope dude, I hope you blow up. People are sleeping on this

Thank you for the comment! Basically, you are exactly the type of person I was thinking of when I started the series. Black Jack is no walk in the park (vocab, grammar, etc.) I dont know if the other viewers realize it but if they can read and understand this they could basically take 400level classes at the university, haha. They are more awesome than they realize.
Im pretty new at youtube but Im trying to improve as I go. Please give me your feedback and let me know if you have any questions!

This is so helpful, I feel like I learned so much from one video that would have taken a long time to find each part individually. I truly think breaking down natural speech from manga and shows is the fastest way to learn, since you learn the important concepts you need to know along the way used in real situations. The "そう" detail for adjectives was new to me, but it's so simple I can immediately apply it to all the adjectives I know and process it when I hear it! ありがとうございます!

@@MrDoggaso a great first manga would be something like Doraemon. It is for kids but it can be deep sometimes and because it was, and continues to be, part of every Japanese persons childhood there are a lot of references to the series in pop-culture everywhere. “どこでもドア” is accepted as a normal word to be used in day to day Japanese (which is a magical door from doraemon that can take you anywhere instantly. )

Yeah I read up on the problem 70 years after a author dies I saw someone mention maybe Golden Bat. Sounds like you would have to talk to a new manga artist and see if you use the first vol in your video later on if you continue this format need to talk to others to see if you can get permission. Good thing Blackjack is long this will keep you going for awhile.
Few suggestion maybe include vocab list at the beginning or end of video to show how many words you will learn for each episode and how many words you have learned so some form of progress meter to keep people motivated. Maybe do a quiz video after so many episodes. Lastly maybe do one grammar lesson per episode if there is a important grammar point. Thanks for doing this really enjoying it so far.

@@tokyoscrambledesigns I consume a lot of Japanese content lately and got into the language last year after playing 龍が如く0 誓いの場所 with subs of course so I decided to start studying for real in about June and been studying mainly through RUclips channels so I get a lot of new channels passing through my feed, think I am up to about 120 channels. So if you looking for feedback I have plenty plus I want to start reading manga so win-win.
