Luna Sandal Review: Mono Winged Edition vs Middle Bear Winged Edition

These sandals have accompanied me on some tough terrain. I love them and can 100% refer them with confidence.
The Mono Winged Edition is more flexible and the Middle Bear a little better for trekking. Depending on your needs, I recommend either. I love these sandals as they have freed my feet and allow my toes and feet work optimally whether on land or in water.

Simply the best! Hiked 10-20 miles every 3 days this summer through Washignton state, whistler and the Rockies and the sandals were my go to every day!

One thing about hiking in sandals is I HAVE LOST A TOENAIL ....MY WHOLE BIG TOENAILL RIGHT RIPPED OFF from a boulder wearing sandals when I slipped off a rock!!!! PAIN WAS AWFULL.. SO PEOPLE YOU RUN THE RISK!!!!

Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry to hear that and I hope that your pain is getting better day by day. I hike all the time on boulders and on really rocky parts and I’ve never had an incident. The only issue that I have is after a lot of Use of my sandals, my heels start to harden and become more paw like. Praying that you have a quick and speedy recovery.

Awesome video! I am looking currently at either the Mono or Middle bear at the moment. They will be mainly be used for Roads, but I do nature walks and a couple waterfalls when going on vacation. I was thinking because of the Water falls to get the Middle Bear, But can the Monos work fine for them too? My concern is the Middle bears wont be as comfy on the road/ get more wear & tear quicker cause of the tread pattern.

I think your intuition is spot on and for your needs sounds like the monos are great! I use the monos for trails all the time too - still using both my pairs now
