Garth Brooks on Coming Out of Retirement

Garth Brooks has been officially retired since 2000, but ET's Nancy O'Dell discovered that he may soon come out of his extensive retirement.

Im 37 and suffer sever social anxiety. ..but it'd be the first concert I'd see in person. Garth's song The River helped me through sad childhood trauma's and death of a baby. I love the powerful messages in his songs.

I only had one CD of his, because I had got away from Country for awhile. I think it was a double in 1996-1998. I'm so glad he is back.

Please come out of retirement...country music sounds like shit these days.....some of these people act like they are gods gift to country music..and 20 years ago they would not be good enough to even think of being the opening act for someone worthwhile...I stopped listening years ago...even if you are 20 times worst than you were the first time,,you will still be 100 better than anyone around today...

Garth died a long time ago he is still Chis Gaines to me & everyone else he cant all the sudden change back into the Garth. Garth has left the building u can see it in his eyes Chris took it all.

I agree with you Steve Elder. Country in the 80's and 90's was the soul of country music. It died after that.
