The 2024 Ineos Grenadier is an off-road utility vehicle designed and produced by Ineos Automotive Ltd. The Grenadier was designed to be a modern replacement of the original Land Rover Defender, with boxy bodywork, a steel ladder chassis, beam axles with long-travel progressive-rate coil spring suspension (front and rear), and powered by BMW B58 inline six turbocharged engines.

As a grenadier owner for three months I would like to compliment the assessment of the Grenadier. You have hit on the main point that every other reviewer I’ve seen has overlooked entirely, it is the best that we can expect in today’s regulatory environment. I think I heard Sir Ratliff say they used the “minimal” amount of tech to satisfy the markets they are active in. As a start up they couldn’t possibly design let alone manufacture 7 different cars for seven markets. The cool thing about that is the petrol grenadier in Australia will be for all intents and purposes the same as mine. Except of course my steering wheel is on the correct side.
