    Great presentation, most players are honest, don't worry about the others. I enjoy the teamwork playing as scavs and even as solo contractors in metro, I ran across randos before and helped them get geared up. Sometimes they'll turn on you, but the honest players won't.

      Yes, ultimately if you stay in that mindset you will always have more fun!

    While i understand why pvpve is more fun, but i also understand the frustration of some ppl whose irl location is so far and prefer pve where there is no comcern for lag. Take me for example, I'm in indonesia, my ping for us server are aroumd 250-270, europe is around 170 and japan is 90-100. I usually use auto and often time I walked in through a door and the game reposition me outside the door facing the wall next to it.

      Hello, person from Indonesia!
      Yeah the lag can be very detrimental with a ping that high and I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm not totally sure that a pve mode would really help your situation because the scavs are still server side. I've honestly never experienced that sort of situation so I can't imagine it being fun at all, so I'm sorry you gotta deal with that

      @Iamdadtired pve means offline, you just need to send the result when you exfil to the server. No lag since its all client side just like in training. If you ask me, why don't i just play training, i cant do Tasks or progress in training, and it all becomes moot point

      Okay I see where you’re coming from that makes total sense

    After watching this, I wanted to come back and say thank you for exposing my crippling gear fear, I didn't know what it was called. Recognizing that I had a lot more fun last night instead of running light builds, I was running some of my heavier kits and had a blast.

      I’m very glad I was able to help you. Back when I played Tarkov I had the same gear fear as well, once you get passed that fear of losing it does make the game so much more fun for you in the long run. All I did for the first week is just scav and rat around and I built up so much of an arsenal that now I’m sitting on 3mil. That short m4a1 goes a long way also if you kit it out, I had saved every one of them from scav runs. Once you learn how to game the scavs and learn patience, use every death as a learning moment, your gates start to open. So I appreciate you coming back, if I can help at least one person amidst all the crazy DMs from pve players than it was worth it lol

    The problem is the "try hards" have the time to play a few times a week with hours a week invested.
    Most people dont have that time. They can jump in for an hour at a time, and that's all the playtime they have.
    This creates a huge skill gap.
    Perhaps they can make servers somewhat skill based or something. But I believe PVE is still what a lot of people want.
    It's always easy for players with "thousands of hours" in one game or another to think that people who dont have time shouldn't play (or be just cannon fodder)
    IF PVE is made though, it should be a seperate stand alone that doesnt affect PVP at all... it's been done many times.
    People who generally want to play PVE, rarely if ever actually play PVP to begin with. They arent :half: of the player base. They sit on the sidelines either not playing, or rarely playing.
    If people truly feel that AI Scavs arent a challenge, then there would be 0 scavs on the map.
    The irony is literally what you said. Shodown had a small player base, so they made exfil further splitting that player base (and obviously gaining players with PVP EZ).
    Perhaps diehard PVP players will continue to play PVP, and people might buy EZ for just PVE

      I recognize your points. But there are a ton of people that play the game regardless of it having a pve mode but who would 100% move to that pve mode if released, so it would still fragment the player base no matter which direction you look at it, I’ve considered most possibilities. As far as it goes with time invested and skill, that to me is a point that isn’t worth mentioning because that applies to literally everything in life, every game, every field of work, every trade. The more time you invest, the better you will be, journeyman electricians don’t complain that master electricians make more money all because they’ve invested more time into what they do. It really is the same with any videogame you play, we should never be catering to people who play casually once a week for an hour when it’s majority playerbase plays for much longer, has more experience with the game and can provide better feedback, and who ultimately spend more money on the game. Anyway that’s my counter points that I have, and I appreciate you and your time commenting it, thank you ❤️🫡

    I don’t want a pve mode, I want to enter a scav raid without getting randomly mowed down by a no mic player scav 2 minutes in

    • @Iamdadtired
      @Iamdadtired  9 дней назад

      lol I would actually be happier with a system that refunds time back depending on how long the scav raid actually ran if we were killed. I understand why they tweaked the scav timer but it should fluctuate depending on actions within that raid imho. Cause yeah thats really beat when you have to wait 40 minutes because someone decided to aggress you right off the jump. It happens though. Hopefully we will get scav karma or at least cooldown penalties for it.

    Nah some people are genuinely sweaty asf I once encountered a guy playing like a war zone sweat and sliding around everywhere in metro and hit all head shots with a m9 when I had barely got boss armour

    • @Iamdadtired
      @Iamdadtired  3 дня назад

      I hate the term sweats or tryhards in games because people have only ever used it as a pejorative for players who are better than them that they can’t win against. I get your point but I’ve never felt this way to be honest

    “Hopefully I won’t make everyone mad” lmao they will get mad cause people dont like being called out for having an opinion that they think is the correct one, this is the easy mode in dark souls argument in different form. Good video man 🔥

    Yo, just some friendly observation? Your audio's got a bit of hum going on. It's probably just a ground loop or EM interference.
    Nothing that can't easily be sussed out in post. just thought I'd let you know.
    Keep creating content my friend!
    Cheers!

      Oh yeah, it's quite annoying, trust me I know LOL. I appreciate you. I just have to fix it up a little better. My desk is in a place that's very close to our heating system that goes off a lot lately because of the cold, I got tired of recording and having to stop til the heat turned back off, but besides that, I also just struggle a bit with my audio more than anything else and every video I learn a bit more on fixing it. It's a process, I'm not upset over it lol.

      @ my former background is with audio. I once was a multinationally published ASCAP union card holding recording artist. That is until the whole rock and roll lifestyle caught up with me. Rick James was right. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.🙄
      If you ever need some advice or help with regards to audio? I’m your huckleberry.

      It's totally fine to have that opinion, but can you tell me what about exfilzone is fun about the pve? Because people will say that to me but when I explain to them how the scavs are braindead they won't elaborate what makes shooting them feel rewarding to have an entire mode just for them to progress with?

      Man, i want pve because im a bad shot and i want to be able to do a contractor run without getting jumped by every other player in the lobby. I know its a skill issue, it'd just be nice to not lose every single gunfight, especially when i dont have the time to sweat for a hardcore pvp game.
