Great video, great camera work. People have forgotten about the beauty, simplicity and magic of "YOU"Tube and what it originally was. I remember watching RUclips videos in 2007-2010 and always enjoying the rawness of a person and their camera just trying to inform people and help out, express a creative outlet or just try it out and have fun. I think with how corporate RUclips is now people expect everybody to have four cameras, tripods, a crew, scripts, lighting and greens screens but there's a coolness to watching some OG RUclips videos like this and the growth/progression people have.
most that have that whole crew set up are endorsed by brands....... seeing the rawness helps me think its a regular person like me just informing and critiquing instead of a video billboard
Joe I just got a Nutribullet from my daughter for Christmas. I decided to use it today and could not figure out how to turn it on. I was so frustrated so I went into You Tube and found your video...THXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX! for showing how to turn it on making sure the points are placed in the right slot. Like you I was pressing down on it and nada...SOOOOOOO thank you for including that in your review. The directions did not explain this..

I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!
I just bought my Nutribullet yesterday, bought some spinach, bananas, pears, apples and pineapples. The big test was my kids...and 2 out of 3 LOVED it!!! My one son could not get past the green appearance. So, extremely happy that I will now be able to digest more vegetables!
TIP After rinsing the blade & cleaning it thoroughly, place on folded paper towel with blade side down to drain all water from it b\f storing. This will prevent blade from rusting.
This is the best review/instruction I’ve found. I’ve had my nutribullet for almost a year. I’ve been afraid to use it because I couldn’t find out exactly how to turn it on/off. Now I know and I can finally start my liquid/smoothie eating. Stupid stomach. Thank you!

Fantastic product. Ive had mine for a a while but had no idea of the alignment of the marks. sweet!!!! I have not found any rust in mine but some juice can make its way through the blades so I clean both side of the blades

Great video. I've had my Mom's Nutribullet for a year and a half (no instructions) but today is the first time I've used it. Been using my grandmother's old 70's blender for years and it was fine until I recently chipped the glass crucible at the bottom and now it leaks and will no longer work properly. Pulling out the Nutribullet, I couldn't get it to work right away so when in doubt, go to RUclips. Your video was the first one I clicked on and I had my NB working in seconds. Thank you much.
I’ve been using one for a while and they are a great idea but they will leak if it’s over filled, or the threads on the lid are not perfectly clean. Also I don’t like the on off system it’s possible to get it to switch on without the cup being properly seated and then you can wear out the plastic drive connection very quickly. So I normally just get the cup locked in then switch it on and off at the wall socket switch.
The nutribullet has to be the best thing I have EVER invested in. It works wonders for my daily smoothie, especially because I barely have time. I could just easily skip breakfast, but now I don't have to. I used to use a cheapy single serve person blender and so I was tempted not to buy the nutribullet because I thought they would be similar but they are in no way comparable!!! Every morning I throw a banana, some kale, some plain greek yogurt, and some coconut water and I have a wonderful breakfast.
I agree, Joe. I'm from Australia and have to wait 1 month from the retailer to send me due to the population, I will only get my Nutribullet only on Mid August. Meanwhile, I'm using Magicbullet and still working but I have to cut hard veges thinly. I also put away my juicer in the shed, I hate cleaning up process with it.
I am absolutely sick and tired of seeing this thing advertised on at least one channel every time I turn the T.V. on. But I bought one, and now my breakfast makes me giggle every morning. I've never felt better. It's fantastic.

JanP528 My Nutribullett was leaking too. I was doing everything right. I got the new blade. If you have your warranty it is covered less S&H. It seems to be constructed better. Better gasket. I have no problems with it leaking now.
True!!! Make sure you guys open the box and check to get the latest model of the blades the ones that are facing up and have 2 that are blend down. That one you can take apart and clean well, which is what a lot complaint about from the old model, that over time it would start to stink. My bf and I got it at the same time, and I got the new model and he got the old!

NutriBullet is awesome, and as an older model is very cheap. I juice mainly leaves as health experiments, and find adding a tbps or 2 of Cocoa (NOT Dutched Cocoa) takes away any bitterness from the leaves. Lemon Grass, Guava, Papaya, Guyabano, Mango, Ampalaya etc.
This is a good review. The most important part to remember is not to overload with hard to mix items as it will loosen the blades up and make the blender noisy and eventually it will leak. I have made 300+ smoothies and no problems. I did a video on my channel much like this one. Check it out by clicking on my picture to the left.
Have had mine for 2 months and juice Every day,no problems... takes seconds to clean and dry ...I never let anything that's metal drip dry..rust from the motor is highly unlikely...

@@mongamonga1477 yes it is really worth buying. I bought the one that you see in the video which is the base model and the cheapest one. I bought it for a little less than 50 euros here in Greece if i am not mistaken. It only takes a few seconds to prepare whatever you want to prepare, and you can just drink it right out of the cup. Cleaning is also very easy, since you can just rinse it in water and it cleans off easily

If it brakes down soon, i do not know that, but i dont think it will. Make sure if you have the new style blade with the removable gasket, that you take the gasket out and wash it with soapy water every few days. It collects food under the gasket, which starts to decay, and will smell pretty bad after awhile. This is not mentioned in the owners manual. The older style blade had a non-removable gasket so this was not a problem.
My recipe for larger cup: kale, baby spinach, pineapple, banana, cashews, english walnuts, almonds, pre-ground flax seed (use the mill blade-put ground flax in separate container for later), frozen blueberry, frozen rasberry, fresh mushroom-not canned, teaspoon of olive oil, one squeezed orange (use screen to keep seeds out), 1 cubic inch beet, few baby carrots, almond butter, add really hot tap water from tap to line on cup - or less. IMPORTANT: Divide ingredients into two piles and do one pile at a time then mix together when done in another container. When blending leave at least one to two inches of air-space above liquid or the increasing hydraulic pressure from heat expansion will blow-out ingredients into the blade shaft bearing and wear it out - also known as - leaking. Experiment with the volume of ingredients until you get the mix you like. I use at least 1/3 kale/spinach to start - with half the other ingredients, then make the second batch with the second half of the ingredients. Store half of final mix in the fridge for tomorrow. If you must use apples, just use the peel and throw out the interior of the apple as it is nearly worthless. Rinse cup and blade with water then put a tiny amount of dish soap in cup - add about 4 ounces hot water - blend that to clean, then just rinse that out and air dry.

The Nutribullet is supposed to LIQUIFY the contents, according to what I jus saw on the infomercial. It doesn't appear that that was what occurred in ur video. The Magic bullet was a whole different product that not only made smoothies but also made juices. However, U said that Nutribullet is FROM Magic bullet. Can u please clarify on these things? Thx
Your only thing is you gotta let it blend for awhile longer to get that apple skin. Which of course heats the drink up a little bit from the friction of the blades. But then you just add some ice and blend it for another 5-8 seconds and youre good to go! Good review my friend!
looks to me like you have overfilled it because I know on the cup the maximum level is about 5 cm below the brim and thats why you can still see the apple skin, if you do that with say some protein powder in there as well it will get thick and start to over heat.
Nutribullet is built for bigger sizes of juicing, or smoothies. Both are made by tha same Co. I've used mine for over a year now, every day and it stills runs as smooth as the first day. I've lost over 40 lbs. Good product. Good investment.

Vegan Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie (No measurements, just use your best judgment!) Protein powder of choice Blueberries Peanut butter Jelly Vegan whipped cream (the one I like to use is made of almonds. If you aren't vegan, you can just use regular whipped cream) Edit: Whipped cream is optional, though I'd reccomend it if you're not a huge smoothie lover and want to make your smoothie a bit sweeter.
Do NOT overfill past the MAX line on the container! That will cause leakage. Also the NutriBullet needs only about ten seconds to do its job....don't need to run it longer like old fashioned blenders. Too long and it may overheat, leak, and you don't need to do that. Hope this helps...I love my NutriBullet.

They’re on sale at walmart for $49.88 - i just recently picked one up. I’ve been wanting one since they came out years ago but they never go on sale and are always $100. So it was nice to catch the sale
It could very well be that you are not tightening it up enough, but I have read a lot of reviews of this product for about two months now and it seems about 10% of the people have bad luck with it. I would return it to HSN and just get one for 99 from walmart. They have a good return policy and you don't have to wait for shipping or pay for shipping to replace a bad unit that leaks or overheats. I had a bad one and just swapped it, no questions asked 20 days later.
Does this blender grind up the seeds in strawberries? I have the small Ninja blender and it does not grind up the strawberry seeds it doesn't even cut them up at all.

Hey Anita, my Nutribullet worked well for about 45 days-- just long enough for the warranty to run out. I bought the extrended warranty but its too late for a refund now. There is a video on youtube where the guy demonstrates how rust gets into the liquid when you use the Nutribullet. So many people are complaining, this is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

you have to clean the rubber part inside the blades to keep it from forming black mold looking stuff

looks to me like you have overfilled it because I know on the cup the maximum level is about 5 cm below the brim and thats why you can still see the apple skin, if you do that with say some protein powder in there as well it will get thick and start to over heat.
You can replace the wheat grass water with your favorite tequila.
Will it puree nuts into a really smooth paste for use as nut butter ... but do this without soaking the nuts first? Thanks

Nutribullet is built for bigger sizes of juicing, or smoothies. Both are made by tha same Co. I've used mine for over a year now, every day and it stills runs as smooth as the first day. I've lost over 40 lbs. Good product. Good investment.
I have one and rinse it at the end out with apple juice. I pour it in, shake it up, and drink. I see no sense in good smoothie going down the drain.

Joe, there are fill lines on the nutribullet. It usually isn't a good idea to go above the fill line.
Vegan Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie
(No measurements, just use your best judgment!)
Protein powder of choice
Blueberries
Peanut butter
Jelly
Vegan whipped cream (the one I like to use is made of almonds. If you aren't vegan, you can just use regular whipped cream)
Edit: Whipped cream is optional, though I'd reccomend it if you're not a huge smoothie lover and want to make your smoothie a bit sweeter.

Do NOT overfill past the MAX line on the container! That will cause leakage. Also the NutriBullet needs only about ten seconds to do its job....don't need to run it longer like old fashioned blenders. Too long and it may overheat, leak, and you don't need to do that. Hope this helps...I love my NutriBullet.

Do you really see a huge difference in health oppose to eating them . Which I use to eat a lot of - but find it harder to do . Still do but, we Everyone says there's such a huge feeling of cleansing they feel?

It could very well be that you are not tightening it up enough, but I have read a lot of reviews of this product for about two months now and it seems about 10% of the people have bad luck with it. I would return it to HSN and just get one for 99 from walmart. They have a good return policy and you don't have to wait for shipping or pay for shipping to replace a bad unit that leaks or overheats. I had a bad one and just swapped it, no questions asked 20 days later.

I bought a magic bullet and plastic grip inside the lid mechanism is worn to the point that it no longer works. Does the same problem can meet with nutribullet? I use this device very often, even several times a day.
It's so freakin' easy to use, it doesn't leak, unless you go past the fill line. Just rinse the cup and blade after each use.
What are the pros and cons about the nutribullet? People please explain before I decide to buy it.

The healthier juices are the green vegetable ones. Fruit juices are ok but too much of them would be alot of sugar.
I prefer the green smoothies/juices, as well.
Hey Anita, my Nutribullet worked well for about 45 days-- just long enough for the warranty to run out. I bought the extrended warranty but its too late for a refund now. There is a video on youtube where the guy demonstrates how rust gets into the liquid when you use the Nutribullet. So many people are complaining, this is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
