You are not supposed to put force and overtighten the lid when blending otherwise, it's going to damage the rubber gasket quickly. The right way to close is to listen to the squeak of the gasket. Once you hear it, just make another quarter or half turn to tighten but not to do it excessively.

I think this NutriBullet is perfect for me as a mommy who's always on the go. I actually like the feature that allows me to just turn it and let it blend. It frees up my hands to do other things besides holding it with my hand to allow it to run. On top of that...this just speaking ways of getting even more healthier. Also, it allows my son to eat some of his veggies in smoothie form.

Great instructional vid. I am standing in the kitchen about to use it for the first time. I was hoping you would show what the two plastic threaded rings are for. The only thing I can think of would be to cover the cup opening with Gladwrap and screw the ring over as a leak resistant cover for fridge storage
I love that this is great for smoothies on the go and can leave it for a short time to work it's magic. I currently have a no name budget single smoothie blender that is on its last legs. Go figure a budget blender wouldn't last long, I believe this is my 5th one. I know I know it's cheaper to buy a more expensive one one time, but its hard to wait and budget for one when you make smoothies all the time.

I also have two old style blenders- given to me- and they have the range of settings she mentions. So, low/high, pulse, and ice blend. But neither have the power to chop up fruits and vegetables like my Nutribullet. The Nutribullet is the one you need to buy for smoothies and green smoothies. The old style blender is for milk shakes and just mixing liquids. It was never intended for whole foods.
I love the size of this blender. Ours is one its last leg as we blend lots of green smoothies and have had it for more than a decade. Our current one is a little bulky and takes up more counter space than we’d like.

I tend to buy too much food than I can eat (I’m tryin to gain weight I lost) and I can’t stand having things go bad. love these blenders cause theyre so easy to use for my protein shakes and easy to clean. they do ware out though after about 6months consecutive usage... so 2 out of these per year is the price really.
Some people having short life on the blade assembly bearing . I found the bearing number on another site was a fairly easy change for better quality bearing .

This was a decent tutorial. The instruction for same nutribullet in white that’s out now 900wats recommends your leafy soft ingredients in first and plant based whey powder, ice, seeds nuts, frozen fruits last. Waiting for a couple of minutes helps soften the load and only 1 minute running and wait at least another minute to go again. Three times should be what is required. Hope this helps your next informative tutorial..😊
I found adding avocado (1/4), almonds, dragon fruit (1/4), kiwi, frozen cranberries, and soy bean milk (thick type) can create a custard style smoothie without using bananas because I need to control my blood sugar.
You seem to get a great smooth blend, but looking at the recipe book that came with my NutriBullet 900, you add the ingredients in the exact opposite order, away from the extractor. The book shows the leafy ingredients are added first, then the fruit. Is that because your not adding any frozen items? I like to add the fruit frozen, even the banana.
Heather, we suggest adding your fruit, then your greens, then your liquid base. That way, when you put the container on the base, you will have the liquid and greens near the blade, which will help you to blend a smooth smoothie without leafy chunks. 😊

I hope you haven't given the blender away yet. I would love this because I need to eat healthier and not having bottom teeth make it hard to eat the nuts that I love, like almonds, or kale that's harder to chew. I would love this blender because it’s compact and looks powerful for its size (you mentioned your smoothie blended well). I also like that you don’t have to hold it down to blend. A friend has another brand where you need to press down and hold while blending.. Can this model blend raw beets or do you have to cook them first? Thank you.
This model can perform pretty well in the ability to blend/liquify blackberries. Each specific ingredient will also blend differently depending on how much liquid you use, other combined ingredients, and how long you blend but in general, the strong Nutribullet blenders can purify seeds, nuts, and fibrous ingredients pretty well. 🙂

Hi Kumkum! A little soap and hot water should clean your blender nicely. We always suggest rinsing the container immediately after blending, that always makes it easier to clean. And we love using at least one frozen fruit to make the smoothie extra creamy!

I bought one just like this less than a year ago and the bearing that causes the cutter to turn is worn out and is wobbly and the juice leaks out through the worn out bearing that does the turning.

What is the plastic ring for? I’m thinking it makes the blender cup easier to drink from. At the NBPro site, they refer to a gasket but don’t say where it is or if I do something with it. I cannot find an extra gasket. I got the base, the blades, a large cup with a handle and a travel top, another cup that also fits both gray rings, one had a handle and one doesn’t. There are two cups, different sizes. However, no gaskets that I can see. I think it’s already in the bladed part. Both cups have the plastic tabs that I think I make sure are under the tabs.

love these blenders cause theyre so easy to use for my protein shakes and easy to clean. they do ware out though after about 6months consecutive usage... so 2 out of these per year is the price really.

Some people having short life on the blade assembly bearing . I found the bearing number on another site was a fairly easy change for better quality bearing .

I just got one of these Neutra bullet and I have the same problem I have a hard time getting off the lid even if I’m not putting on super tight do you still have that problem?
Sometimes the lid is a bit hard to remove but it doesn't happen too often. 🙂

This was a decent tutorial. The instruction for same nutribullet in white that’s out now 900wats recommends your leafy soft ingredients in first and plant based whey powder, ice, seeds nuts, frozen fruits last. Waiting for a couple of minutes helps soften the load and only 1 minute running and wait at least another minute to go again. Three times should be what is required. Hope this helps your next informative tutorial..😊
I found adding avocado (1/4), almonds, dragon fruit (1/4), kiwi, frozen cranberries, and soy bean milk (thick type) can create a custard style smoothie without using bananas because I need to control my blood sugar.

You seem to get a great smooth blend, but looking at the recipe book that came with my NutriBullet 900, you add the ingredients in the exact opposite order, away from the extractor. The book shows the leafy ingredients are added first, then the fruit. Is that because your not adding any frozen items? I like to add the fruit frozen, even the banana.
Heather, we suggest adding your fruit, then your greens, then your liquid base. That way, when you put the container on the base, you will have the liquid and greens near the blade, which will help you to blend a smooth smoothie without leafy chunks. 😊
This is a great video. My mom got one of these for Christmas last year. We all love it. I like banana, spinach and peanut butter with coconut milk. 🙂

I hope you haven't given the blender away yet. I would love this because I need to eat healthier and not having bottom teeth make it hard to eat the nuts that I love, like almonds, or kale that's harder to chew. I want to lose weight and feel better all around. I have Osteoporosis, Rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia. I am only 48 years old! I don't get the nutrition I need on a daily basis. I would love this blender because it’s compact and looks powerful for its size (you mentioned your smoothie blended well). I also like that you don’t have to hold it down to blend. A friend has another brand where you need to press down and hold while blending.. Can this model blend raw beets or do you have to cook them first? Thank you.
It really is a super convenient blender. We have not tested it on raw beets so we do not know how well it will perform on that.
But how well does it pulverise seeds from blackberries etc? That's the important question. Thanks for the demonstration all the same.
This model can perform pretty well in the ability to blend/liquify blackberries. Each specific ingredient will also blend differently depending on how much liquid you use, other combined ingredients, and how long you blend but in general, the strong Nutribullet blenders can purify seeds, nuts, and fibrous ingredients pretty well. 🙂

Mine leaks now after two years of use... No matter how tight I tighten the lid. I don't understand why they don't last. Been using Nutribullet for over 15 years, and I'm on my third one due to leakage.

I've just bought one and bought it home from post office, opened it up and found a spare round grey thingy that's the shape of a bracelet and wonder what on earth it's for.....can you tell me as their are no instructions on what's in the box although have the Nutribullet Care and Instructions manual?

Use 600 nutri bullet n now leaks so bought combo 1200 ,is it easy to clean the pitcher? Can frozen good? Pls answer.
Hi Kumkum! A little soap and hot water should clean your blender nicely. We always suggest rinsing the container immediately after blending, that always makes it easier to clean. And we love using at least one frozen fruit to make the smoothie extra creamy!

I bought one just like this less than a year ago and the bearing that causes the cutter to turn is worn out and is wobbly and the juice leaks out through the worn out bearing that does the turning.

What is the plastic ring for? I’m thinking it makes the blender cup easier to drink from. At the NBPro site, they refer to a gasket but don’t say where it is or if I do something with it. I cannot find an extra gasket. I got the base, the blades, a large cup with a handle and a travel top, another cup that also fits both gray rings, one had a handle and one doesn’t. There are two cups, different sizes. However, no gaskets that I can see. I think it’s already in the bladed part. Both cups have the plastic tabs that I think I make sure are under the tabs.
Sharon, usually a gasket is used to keep leaks from happening when you blend. 😊
I want to buy a nutribullet but i’m undecided between 900 watts or 1200 watts nutrí balance which one do you recommend best.
It really depends on what you are planning to blend with it. I personally think the 900 watts would be perfectly fine!

TheNutriBullet does a great job of blending those veggies but you have to have enough water inside for it to blend properly. Hope that helps!
